No time for full sked now.

SC-Clem on E2

I heard one of the refs is "Brandon Enterline." Brian's son?

Jacks leading Embry Riddle 47-30 at the half. Omaha native Naomi White is a bucket.

Lopes falling to 0-3 in Eugene.

In Texas Coach Payne has the Broncos clicking....former Lumberjack Sophie Glancy is having a game with 17 points and 5 blocks at the half

I'm fairly certain there are WAY more games between D1 and really low level teams this season, like D3 or NAIA. Why? Nobody benefits from these games. Portland is currently annihilating Warner Pacific 51-3.

107-26 final. Pathetic. Meanwhile Portland St. is rolling Willamette, another local lower division school. UP and PSU shoulda played each other and let the non D1 schools play other non D1 schools.

Ugly loss for Marquette. Picked to finish #2 in the big east. Blasted by 30+ against Minnesota. 😬

They beat woeful Wisconsin in OT but got completely boat raced by my local Gophers tonight by 43 points. Thought maybe they would give the Cyclones a game over Thanksgiving, but maybe not. Didn't they return the entire team?

D3 and D1 teams are not allowed to play each other in the regular season; most likely also in exhibitions. The teams you have seen are in all probability D2.

Warner Pacific is NAIA and Willamette is D3, I just looked them up. Portland and Portland St. have both played both of them this year. Of the 4 games, only Portland St. vs. Warner Pacific is identified as an exhibition game on the team's official schedule. If you really want me to I can go back thru the schedule from opening week and find you dozens of schools I've never heard of before, they can't all be D2.

edit--and Oregon St. played Corban College, also NAIA, it also was not an exhibition

Warner Pacific is an NAIA team.

Could Minnesota be that good?
I have them as a dark horse in the BIG10 this year. Several players returning from injury, plus the core that played last season makes them an unknown who shouldn't be taken lightly in my opinion.

This must have been changed. Right now Dartmouth is playing D3 Colby-Sawyer and New Haven (didn't even know they were D1, but they are in the NEC) is playing D3 Purchase. Like I said, I can probably find you several dozen more of these "is that really a college?" type of teams that have been playing against D1 teams this year. It's an epidemic.

edit--also playing today are: Hope International, Washington Adventist, Arkansas Baptist, Pittsburgh-Johnstown, Wilberforce, Bloomfield. Without looking them up, those all have really low division, either D3 or NAIA, written all over them. Never heard of a single one of them before just now.

Hidalgo had 16 steals?! Can that really be real? Also 44 points.

Is the Big East a 1 bid league this year? Creighton is getting crushed by Nebraska. Thought I heard reference to Marquette getting off to a slow start. Is anyone other than UConn supposed to be good?

Yea…if you’re crazy enough to leave her in that long for a practice game. She almost had a triple double. Needed one more rebound.

Top 25 is going to have a lot of movement this year. A short win or losing streak can move you 5+ games…up or down. Lot of evenly yoked teams after anyone ranked above maybe …5?

There is a lot of it this year. Not so much with Power 4 teams, but a lot of others. I have no idea of the reason, but the number of those games has grown year by year over the last few years. At one time, they didn't count in the stats used by the committee at NCAAs time, but of course most of these teams don't have to worry about that. I don't know when it became "ok", but there was a time that NAIA and D3 teams did only play in exhibitions with D1. Those days are obviously gone.

Eh, she only played 28 min and was pulled with 5 min left. Nothing out of the ordinary about leaving her in for that amount of time, even in a 27 point win. For comparison sake, KK Arnold played 27 minutes tonight in a much more lopsided game (54 point win) on a much deeper team.

Plus 16 steals is just insane, regardless of opponent or the number of minutes played.

It’s no so much the margin, but she’s a SIGNIFICANT and irreplaceable part of their offense and defense. Then again if she doesn’t get 16 steals the game may have actually been more competitive so I guess it doesn’t really matter. Ride that horse as long as you can. Akron actually shot better, but couldn’t stop turning it over.
