Week 18 Other Games

Any team that Steve Pikiell coaches (except Duke or Cuse) is ok for me. And yes he is a very good coach. RU isn’t the only team to blow a late game lead this season.
Mawot Mag was a big loss for Rutgers.

Nova/Georgetown likely Pat Ewing's last game coaching?
I seem to remember them actually winning the damned thing two years ago with a bad team, so you never know.

Big opportunity for us here.

Baylor, KSU, Tennessee all lost.

Chance to move up in the rankings and potentially seeding with a win tonight.
Yeah. Texas is winning, but we probably weren't catching them anyways. Otherwise went really well from a seeding perspective.

Rooting for Pitt over Miami tonight, Butler over Xavier, probably UCLA over Arizona.

I was supposed to be in East Longmeadow, but it seems now I won’t be. So the Kansas at Texas game is on tap in 50 minutes.
Probably would have been less painful if you went to East Longmeadow. :)

Vitale keeps saying Kansas needs to be the overall #1 seed. They have 6 losses now. I understand they have a difficult schedule. Let's see what they do in the Big 12 Tournament but I wonder how many #1 overall seeds have had at least 6 losses.

I don’t think there are any great teams this year. If Houston played in the Big XII they might be the 3rd best team in the conference. Texas is trying to get on the 2 line.

But I’m also able to watch our game now.

I kinda need Pitt to beat Miami to not have to live with angst in the household for the next 8 days.

I agree. Have been saying that all season. I remember Fishy saying earlier this season that there would be a couple teams that would separate from the pack at the end of the season but it doesn't seem like it. Gonna be a wild NCAA Tournament.

Nope we are separating from the pack!!!

So with Bama and Kansas losing any chance Marquette can sneak onto the 1 line? The top five will be hard to surpass for them but that had to open the door right?

Pitt began week as #1 seed in ACC. Now #5. They'll face either GaTech or Florida St, then likely Duke. And now Lunardi says that loss to ND was so horrific they need to win 2 games to make the field

Best season in almost a decade and they are still on the bubble.

UCLA is so dependent on Jaquez. They force sets to him. Arizona and Tubelis look great early on.

Bill Walton is a legend but he shouldn't be calling games- He loves giving history lessons but doesn't pay attention to the game he is getting paid for

So
2, 3, 7, 9, 11, 12 all lost this week with 8 playing. How high can UConn rise?

Anyone know if SHUs win can move them from 85 to top 75 in net?

Decent chance. It wasn't just a huge margin win, but it was a slow game, so their per possession efficiency was off the charts in a road game against a decent team. They went up by more than 10 in both Tovik and KenPom.

Think Oregon should hold onto top 50, also.

Guy was inbounding the ball under the hoop for Memphis and the Houston defender reached way over the line and hit the ball right out of his hands. There was no infraction. There's no rule against this? Seems like there should be.

There is, but the ref said the ball left his hand already so it was deflected. Replay didn’t look so cut and dry though.

Isn't it a technical foul if you do that?
