Okay @triaddukefan you gave us High Point as a stone cold lock, ... What gives?
You realize this is the person who said he lost 40 (?) straight bets?

They won the regular season title, right? Don’t people consider that a better accomplishment than the conference tournament.Poor Miles. No conference title.
He totally turned it around this weekend, he was on a hot streak. You realize this is the person who said he lost 40 (?) straight bets?
Bitter ND alum here. They won the regular season title, right? Don’t people consider that a better accomplishment than the conference tournament.
I wonder though if this drops TCU to a 3 seed.
I dont think they had a shot at a 2 seed , but this cements it.They won the regular season title, right? Don’t people consider that a better accomplishment than the conference tournament.

Okay @triaddukefan you gave us High Point as a stone cold lock, they find themselves trailing Radford just before the half. What gives?
3s - Lou, Michigan, TCU, Ohio StI dont think they had a shot at a 2 seed , but this cements it.
LSU, Vandy, Iowa, Duke as the #2s
There some coaches out there who’ve shown they can compete without elite talent at multiple schools. Coincidentally, Mark Campbell is another.WV's Kellogg with a great job in just his 3rd season.
He's from Texas and coached for 8 years at SF Austin. Wonder if he's now on the radar for TAMU or Tex (when Vic retires)?
It’s gonna be interesting if UCLA ends up winning it all. Call it West Coast bias, lack of Big Ten competition, or just SEC media craze, but feels like UCLA’s gone under the radar as much as a top 2 team canIowa is a good team, right? UCLA is utterly dismantling them.
I would venture to guess that WV jumps to the lowest 3 or the highest 4.3s - Lou, Michigan, TCU, Ohio St
4s - Okla, WV, prob Minn & Ky
High point probably isn’t a 16 seed. 🤔
I think Campbell has “landed”some elite talent at TCU.There some coaches out there who’ve shown they can compete without elite talent at multiple schools. Coincidentally, Mark Campbell is another.
He's also gotten quite a bit more out of some of those players than their previous coaches managed to do.I think Campbell has “landed”some elite talent at TCU.
He definitely did with Sedona Prince. I don’t think he did more with Hailey Van Lith and Miles than Walz and Ivey did though. He's also gotten quite a bit more out of some of those players than their previous coaches managed to do.
You need more Samford-type teams to win their conf tourneys. The Bulldogs are likely rank #68.If they put High Point as a #16, the amount of anger and fury coming out of the Piedmont Triad will be immeasurable and historic 🤬😡
Being in the 16 seed play in game is what you want to avoid.

That said, if the Panthers make it off the #16 line ... they are perfect geographic match for a certain 2 seed.
Tell it to the computer models. And the computer models count a great deal. This isn't college football. Stop pushing the point spread crap.
I was thinking of Madison Conner and Prince in particular. He definitely did with Sedona Prince. I don’t think he did more with Hailey Van Lith and Miles than Walz and Ivey did though.
Cheaper for NCAAHigh Point was in that play in game last season. Until they stumbled down the stretch, Creame had them as high as a #14
My thing is, if you are gonna be a huge underdog, it would be more fun for the team to go to a faraway place instead of down the road in Durham. Like last season .. UNC-Greensboro went to LA instead of Columbia SC.
So UConn would take exception to receiving the second #1 seed and its anger over the disrespect will help motivate its tournament play? I suspect Geno could give a rat’s ass, maybe not Dawn, as demonstrated by the Gamecocks getting number 2 last year and her voicing complaints about it. When asked whether she thought UCLA deserved the #1 overall in the today’s game press conference Coach Close said she doesn’t expend any energy or focus on things out of her control. I imagine Geno feels similarly. Please give UCLA the no. 1 overall seed. I want UCONN going into the tournament angry and with a chip on their shoulders.
Yes Geno is not outwardly cranky like Dawn, but trust me the highest competitors in sports will take exception to many a small slights. Please watch the “the last dance”. Geno and players will say something like yeah I’m not bothered by the seeding, you play who’s in front of you. But I’m telling you in that locker room there will be that proverbial chip.So UConn would take exception to receiving the second #1 seed and its anger over the disrespect will help motivate its tournament play? Close did mention previously that one benefit of receiving number 1 last year was getting assigned to the nicest hotel close to the final four venue in Tampa.
Hailey Van Lith’s tenure at LSU was a disaster. The portal giveth and taketh.I was thinking of Madison Conner and Prince in particular.
Walz did very well with Hailey Van Lith...but Mulkey sure didn't!
Also Suarez had a nice stint at Cal, but Tennessee didn't get much out of her. And this was by far her best season.
Some of those players probably aren't elite, but they were big contributors for TCU.
