Week 18 - Championship Week! (schedules thru 3/8)

Rhode Island and George Mason each have only 1 Tourney appearance previously, so will be 2nd appearance for either one.

So Close should've played 3 post players and no PG for the entire 4th quarter. That totally makes sense. And one of the guards averages about 3 minutes per game. Some of you sure have some opinions about teams you don't watch play.

UCLA made a strong case for the number one overall seed. Apparently they even kept their starters in late to make sure they poured it on (that’s what I hear anyway).
Please give UCLA the no. 1 overall seed. I want UCONN going into the tournament angry and with a chip on their shoulders.

Pulling for North Dakota St. They've never been to the Tourney. South Dakota St. has been almost every year since 2009.

George Mason kept fighting til the end, but Rhode Island w/ the 2 point victory and punches their ticket.

Never bet against the Jackrabbits. Up 7 w/ 30+ seconds left. Too bad for the Bizon.

edit--64-51 final

SDSU left no doubts, beat North Dakota St. and South Dakota twice each in the last several weeks; clearly the best team in the conference

i am sorry seton hall. I have been rooting for Villanova. The big east is decided; no more cannibalism. These are the two tournament teams and they should play in the final.

Okay @triaddukefan you gave us High Point as a stone cold lock, they find themselves trailing Radford just before the half. What gives?

Poor Miles. No conference title.
They won the regular season title, right? Don’t people consider that a better accomplishment than the conference tournament.

I wonder though if this drops TCU to a 3 seed.

I dont think they had a shot at a 2 seed , but this cements it.

LSU, Vandy, Iowa, Duke as the #2s

WV's Kellogg with a great job in just his 3rd season.

He's from Texas and coached for 8 years at SF Austin. Wonder if he's now on the radar for TAMU or Tex (when Vic retires)?

Santa Clara beat San Francisco handily in the other WCC quarterfinal.
