Week 17 - Feb 26 to Mar 4 (games, conf standings, NET)

I'd probably pay to watch that. Would it be a drama, a comedy, a tragedy? All of the above?
I'd say a story about an extended family that bickers constantly, often corrects one another, but still all sits down to Thanksgiving Dinner thankful to have each other.

Boise St. outscored Air Force 23-8 in Q4, but still lost by 1. At home too. That's a surprise.

Stephen F. Austin beat Grand Canyon, keeping the WAC race interesting. Cal Baptist now 1/2 game up on GCU.

South Dakota St. joined the list of perfect conference regular seasons.

Okay @Plebe , Tess Heal w/ a 40 piece today for Santa Clara. They already locked up #2, but looks like they'll win a shootout w/ Pacific.

Oregon made it slightly interesting at the beginning of Q3, but Stanford wins by 20. Ducks finish 2-16 in conference, just flabbergasting.

Wow, Nevada beat New Mexico in The Pit today. If it wasn't for UNLV, the Mountain West would be really dramatic. I guess the fight for #2 is still dramatic. New Mexico and Wyoming tied, Boise St. 1 game back, 1 game left. Colorado St., San Diego St. and Nevada are all 1 game behind Boise St. With 7 of the 11 conference members over .500 at the moment, that means the bottom is really bad. San Jose St. and Utah St. are both 2-15.

Holy cow! I go watch g-daughters soccer match this afternoon and come home to all these pac12 upsets? Wowzer

St. Louis might do the near impossible, and get 2 wins on the same day. Already credited with a conference win due to Davidson's forfeit, looks like they found a replacement opponent (the mighty Knox Prairie Fire?) who they are crushing currently.

It's become a UConn tradition -- last regular season Big East game has to be a hideous affair. Although this wasn't nearly as hideous as last year's 9-point win over (ugh) Xavier.

To be fair, UConn was up 57-25 after 3Q. The 4Q gives us some idea of how much Paige and Aaliyah are carrying this team.

Hard to believe this is the last day we'll have of Pac 12 regular season play ... ever (as we know it). Ending quite unceremoniously with a UCLA blowout over Arizona.

I wonder how many of the Pac-12 schools will schedule each other in the nonconference next year and beyond. (I guess we can count out an Arizona vs Stanford matchup?)
