Well now. That was a wild weekend. The next three weeks are going to be interesting. Added green shading to URI, Rice, NDSU, and FDU, as they are the four teams still undefeated in conference play, however not ranked. Eleven games within t25.

@BRS24 every time you post this thread on Monday's I look at the games for today and immediately think:
ESPN was a bit quicker today, although the rankings appeared in the schedule pages first, however there were none on the ranking page at one point. A bit odd.

Even though it's a federal holiday, hmm

Big week for NC State. At Duke for its third consecutive road game Thursday, then hosting Syracuse Sunday. Top 4 finish (and double bye in ACCT) at stake with Syracuse.

NC State @ Duke could be competitive. Would be a huge win for NC State and resume booster. A Duke win here likely clinches at least a share of the ACC crown.

Kentucky @ Vandy should also be a great matchup. I think Kentucky is likely a top 10 team with Teonni Key back and they lost by 1 to Vandy earlier this month

If you can't beat em, hack em: Tenn has 10 fouls to Ole Miss's 4 late in the 1st half.

OM blew it open in the 3rd, getting the lead up to 25 pts
now 16 midway thru 4th

Tenn definitely Jekyll & Hyde this year
16-41 on 2s

Tennessee has now lost 4 of 6. Very likely to lose at least 2 if not 3 of the remaining 4 games. Kinda what I was expecting, the easy schedule most of the way thru the season was hiding the truth about the Vols, now they are getting exposed.
And yet they did almost beat TX. Very odd.

TN's 2nd best player of the night -- Hurst -- played only 24 mins. Dont know how you win with that.

The other losses include a very surprising 15 point L at home to Mississippi St. and complete beatdowns by UConn and South Carolina.

Actually it's 5 out of 7 now.

Yeah, that struck me too. It didn’t look good when Janiah Barker pulled it with Cori Close, it looks even worse when it’s a coach who should really know better.
Much as I love any opportunity to bash TN ... and while I did notice it, I dont think it's much of anything. I've see a bunch of coaches do the blow by handshake, often when they dont like the opposing the coach OR they're pissed at their team and are preoccupied with that. I'm sure she was displeased with the TN product tonight.

Barker thing was different, as she actively pulled away and said something.

Ole Miss plays old style basketball. They just ball and hustle. Nothing fancy here. Is Lattimore on any draft boards? Speaking of boards…she beat TN down here.

She should actually be playing more than she does. She’s their best/most consistent 3 point shooter. I think she’s the type of player Caldwell needs more of.

You're absolutely correct that the Barker thing was different. It was the first thing that popped into my head and probably I shouldn't have drawn a comparison. Barker obviously has a problem with Close based on her one year at UCLA.

Upon thinking a little more about it, this blow-by handshake seems to be a growing pattern from Caldwell. As long as things were looking good at Tennessee, Caldwell looked great -- seemed to be the coach they needed, seemed pretty good with the media, etc. But after a couple of losses, she seemed to start taking the low road, throwing her team under the bus, and now avoiding opposing coaches.

It's bothered me when I've seen other coaches do it, and it bothered me this time.
