All sorts of ups and downs for us sports fans, depending on who we were rooting for over the past few days. My stages of Monday:
  1. Impatiently await the updated top 25
  2. Maniacally refresh the AP page
  3. Go to the ESPN WBB schedule page
  4. Impatiently await the cascading updates from the T25 to the schedule of games
Moving along, here is the weekly slate of games, with a fast follow of conference standings and NET. As we get closer to end of season, I may try to include conference games of interest that will affect top seedings and byes.

For the conference standings and tourney seedings, a lot of settling happened over the last week, that put teams mostly in line in regard to conference and overall standings. The BE, B12, and SEC still have some teams whose standings differ by more than two spots - St. John’s, TN, Vandy, Ole Miss, OK, IA St, KS, TCU.

UConn, Princeton, and South Carolina are all still undefeated in conf play. Conference standings now showing the line(s) of demarcation with tourney byes.

Well, USC's win over Arizona last night kept the waters muddy in regard to the top 4 Pac12 seeds. Tonight we have a solitary t25 team playing, WVA vs TCU, which will further solidify its spot in the top 4 in Big12.

.-.
Villanova climbs back in to the top 4 in BE along with St Johns, Marquette nipping at heels, WV up to #3 with the win over TCU.

Nebraska hoping to stay in top 4 with win over OSU, MSU nipping at their heels. OK with a commanding lead in B12 standings, Baylor needs the win to stay in touch with the top 4. Same with Iowa State & KSU game.

(no graphics today, site is wonky)

Ayoka Lee returned for Kansas State, and they needed all of her in a thriller with Iowa State. Currently in OT...Iowa State has just taken an 80-78 lead with 8 seconds left.

What a game. I love watching Lee play, and Iowa State is one of my adopted teams this year. Looks like second OT coming up.

In Big South Action, the two conference leaders tied for 1st (High Point and USC-Upstate) met down in Spartanburg. The Spartans led 47-37 in 4th but High Point went on a 16-3 run to end the game and emerged victorious 53-50.

High Point gains sole possession of first place with a 10-2 conference mark. My Panthers are BACK where they belong.

Bonjour hoop fans! KSU holding on to #4 spot, even after the loss to Iowa St, and with OK over Baylor, Iowa St takes the #4 spot fro Baylor. For today, Syracuse & NCSU trying to hold onto a top 4 spot, with ND right behind at #5. Duke also at the cusp of a #4 spot, depending on outcome of a few games. Vandy & TAMU trying to stay in the 2nd tier to avoid a double play in game.

3 NC State (9-3) @ 12 Notre Dame (8-4) 6:00 PM ACCN
19 Syracuse @ Miami 6:00 PM ACCNX

Another multiple screen night it looks like for me. What a horrible problem to have.

tough night as I despise most teams in these match-ups so I can't pick who I want to win or want to lose more!

Duke at VPI might get ugly. The Turkeys will be out for blood tonight. Sold out night game, those land granters are gonna be fired up and ready to go after a day of farming.

Enter Sandman!!! Extra loud version!!!

Mimi Collins, who left NC State's last game with a leg injury, was a participant in shoot around this afternoon but is not warming up with the team pre-game so it appears she will not play tonight against Notre Dame.

NCSt rolling against ND 53-34 in the 4th
Unc has recovered after trailing against Pitt
Lou trailing BC by 9 early

Unc only up 3 at the end of 3.
@triaddukefan im sure you’ve got some Panther pompoms, since I think one of your 17 teams is also Panthers.

Hildago was 0-9 with 0 points at half.

ND only had 2 players score at half.

ND only had 3 players who had scored until under 4 minutes to go in the game.

Wasn’t the best game the Pack can play, but they made things difficult for ND, rebounded well, River Baldwin gave them a little more than she had been post injury. Big win overall for the Pack going into South Bend and leading by double digits ever since it was 12-2 early on. I thought Maddy Cox gave State some good minutes with Mimi Collins out with an injury. Cox has the potential to be a pretty good player down the road IMO.

Also doesn't help that ND shot 27/17% FG/3pt vs NCSU at 43/50%. Also not a lot of free throws, 4-8 and 4-10 respectively.

For a while there, Cox was averaging a rebound per minute. That was the best game I've seen her play so far.

Auburn 31 Kentucky 10
It’s amazing that KY has 2 conference wins, because no one is getting blowed out the way the Cats are this year.

17 to Bama
22 to Vandy
62 to SC
27 to Ark
17 to TAMU
18 to Tenn

It did help actually. (If you’re pulling for the Pack!)

But yes, a brutal offensive game from ND. Was a match up of the ACCs leading offense vs the ACCs best defense. Fairly evident how that shook out.

Who are you saying has the ACC's best defense? The ACC's best defense is currently playing.

KY can’t hit the side of a barn , but on an inbounds play near half court they tried to do a back door, except the inbounder put it in the hoop, Caitlin Clark style . Doesn’t count of course.,
