Speaking of teams that can’t shoot, Tenn started 2-17 from 3, which needless to say wasn’t going to get the job done against SC.
sC pushed it to double digit lead late.

For a while there, Cox was averaging a rebound per minute. That was the best game I've seen her play so far.
Forgotten she had committed to NC State. Looking forward to seeing how she develops.

Watched some of Drake at Murray St. Back and forth game, but Drake with the strong finish for the road win and keeping their grip on 1st in the Missouri Valley. 32 pts/7assists for Dinnibier leading the way.

Whoa, first place in the Big Sky Northern Arizona is getting boat raced by an absolutely awful Sacramento St. team. What the heck?

Penn St. lost at home to Illinois. The Nittany Lions have really fallen off after briefly creating some excitement.

.-.
Duke at VPI might get ugly. The Turkeys will be out for blood tonight. Sold out night game, those land granters are gonna be fired up and ready to go after a day of farming.

So far your BDs are going all New Kids on the Block with the Hokies.

Who are you saying has the ACC's best defense? The ACC's best defense is currently playing.
Haha, fair.

State has the best FG % defense in the league. That’s what I was referring to.

I’m a blue devil tonight - need yall to hand the Hokies a L.

Btw - why did Celeste Taylor transfer from Duke? I thought she was great in that system last year - at least when I saw her in Raleigh she looked fantastic. Surprised she left.

I did not see this as a 2 point game. Would have been interesting if BC had executed their last play a bit better.

You missed my earlier post. I said No Nights Off (in the ACC) :p

BC has some talent... Chestnut Hill isn't a easy place to play. Those 17 fans make a lot of noise.

The Conte Forum. The ACC's basketball version of a funeral parlor.

I was watching off and on, but Kitley was magnificent while I was tuned in. VA Tech is going to survive a low scoring slugfest with Duke.

Did you just call them a JT?

Have you not seen "Semi Pro?" That is the worst insult imaginable. By the way, I love that movie, I could get myself going on a whole totally unrelated to anything tangent thinking about it.

Amoore went 4-21.... 4 for 21

No, never seen the movie. I did watch Good Times and The Jeffersons back in the day :p

Vandy and A&M in a rock fight in College Station. Dores up 36-34 after three quarters.

Hold on, what?

Do yourself a favor, watch it. Funniest/best basketball movie ever.

Look out, Seattle U. about to be on a 2 game winning streak. Will improve them to 3-20 on the year.

And yet she still hit the dagger 3 ...

I tell ya, for someone who gets touted as the ACC's version of Caitlin Clark, she sure lays a lot of terrible shooting nights. (I say this with the full knowledge that if UConn plays VT in the tournament she'll probably score 40 points and hit 10 threes against us.)

Amoore absolutely has bad shooting nights. She takes a lot of shots, maybe too many. She’s a career 39% FG shooter, this year is actually her best from the field at 41.7% while taking nearly 16 attempts a game.

While her efficiency numbers won’t blow anyone away - she is a gamer. What you pointed out sums her up well, off shooting night yet puts the dagger in you. She’s really good and can get hot - certainly has the ability to get to any spot on the court and get her shot and sets up teammates well.

VTs weakness is relying so heavily on 2 players. But I will say they have 2 great ones to lean on.

Good morning y'all ! In the ACC, Syracuse solidifies its #2 spot, and NCSU at #3, however ND is now at #6. The Louisville/BC score was huge surprise, with our northern neighbors falling just short. Tenn had a chance vs SC (good call @Blakeon18 !) however just couldn’t keep up the pace. I’m betting Dawn will get a lot out of the game film. Vandy’s win puts them in the upper half of the middle bracket for the SEC tourney. Still work to be done though.

As of today, we only have 3 top 25 losses, however there will be at least 5 more, and possibly more with unexpected upsets.

Looking forward to tonight, the Pac12 is a veritable mosh pit of the top 6 teams, all still in play for the top 4 spots.

Tech is softer than a box of Kleenex from Food Lion.
