Barely avoided a 3 game losing streak.

HUGE game for Avery Howell--34 pts/14 rebs (on 12-19 shooting and 6-13 from 3 I might add). That's a lot of boards for a 6-0 guard. Sellers did her thing, Ladine with her best game in a while. Not much scoring outside those 3. They need a little more help up and down the roster.

Hmm...is Caldwell sounding a bit like a former Duke coach w/ the middle initial P. who used to throw her team under the bus any chance she got? Truly effective leadership, right?

Oh my God. What a disgrace she is. Her snotty attitude and throwing the players under the bus should not be tolerated. SHE is the problem.

NC State went to Blacksburg and emerged with an 82-62 win over Virginia Tech. NC State now 17-7, 10-3 ACC. VT falls to 18-7, 8-5 ACC.

Solid win on the road for NC State.

She’s not leaving but players will. I’ve asked this many times… why does any player want to go there?? Yes… every player gets playing time. But…. As a player, your can’t get comfortable. As soon as you get on going, you’re pulled.

In the portal era, I don't see her keeping players for long with this type of "coaching". It'll be interesting to see if she can keep her roster together this off-season.
