South Carolina requires a 5 year waiting period before an athlete gets their jersey retired, which begins at the conclusion of their final year at USC. A'ja's last year was in 2018, so I think we could have retired it last year but I guess schedules didn't line up. It's kind of crazy to think that we're a little over one generation (the freshie years) removed from the A'ja Wilson years.

The current UConn standard is being named to the Naismith Hall of Fame. That takes 15-25 years for most players.

They play UCLA 2x at the end of the season.

And very possibly 3x with the Big 10 tournament. Like we face Texas again and possibly a third time in the SEC tournament.

The SEC seems to have front loaded it’s regular season while the Big Ten seems to have backloaded.

They have a gaudy record but their SOS may be the weakest of the teams of the top 16. The next few weeks are tough for them though. We’ll see pretty soon with this week’s Cali road trip.

Okay, Vandy did start scoring eventually, but looks like it was never really close. Ole Miss wins 76-61.

That was embarrassing. I really liked Shea's tone in postgame -- less angry than one might think but very clear about the lack of preparation (on herself) and lack of effort. I have no doubt the staff and team will resolve this quickly.
