Hey hey hoop fans. Some great games last week. Here's a look at the upcoming T25 & BE games, with a not-so-fast follow on the conference standings later today (just started volunteer coaching MS girls soccer, so yeah). No t25 teams on Tues & Fri, and six t25 matchups this week. Edited to put dates in green shading as the one game night is hard to read.

Top 8 conferences per Warren Nolan NET as of this morning. ACC, Big East, and A-10 have the most disparity between conference and overall records (3 or more spots differential). It will be interesting to see if it evens out as the conference season progresses.

Is this true? I am a UConn fan. And I am definitely for South Carolina to win this game.

Seeing who posted this, I wouldn't take them at their word. But in fairness, I do not think highly of the person behind this company.

Considering that message only received 37 likes, I'd question that sentiment myself.

Uh oh. Mississippi St. with a BAD loss @ Missouri, 78-77. First conference win for Mizzou.

Half jokingly and half seriously, Washington has been such a poor shooting team since Plum left that I thought there might be something wrong with the rims in Hec Ed. Well, Iowa and Indiana came to town to check that out for me, and they both say the rims are fine. Iowa shot 72% overall and 9-13 behind the arc (69%). Indiana "only" shot 51% and 13-23 from deep (56%). Last two opponents a combined 22-36 from 3, do you think the defense was good?

UW overcame a 13 point deficit at the start of Q4, tied it, but ultimately lost by 3. Scorched by Garzon, 35 points on 13-18 shooting and 8-10 from long range.

I might have to start up my chant again. UW has been beating up on bad teams, but seems to have trouble winning against anyone with a pulse. Not seeing much in the way of readily winnable games the rest of the way. Maybe Penn St. on the road and Rutgers at home. They play a pair against Oregon, would be nice to split. Ohio St on the road will be ugly, probably not much chance of beating Minnesota or Nebraska on the road. USC at home not much chance either (they did somehow beat the Trojans last year though). Currently 4-5 in conference and that's probably gonna get a lot worse between now and the end of the season. I'm not really into 8 year rebuilding projects. We're only halfway there, so a long way to go.

edit--forgot Maryland at home, another not real likely win

While I'm in such a good mood...time to stick a fork in Oregon St. Getting blown out by Washington St. in Corvallis. I don't have any idea how the Beavs beat both Gonzaga and Portland on the road, the top 2 teams in the WCC. Now they would probably lose if they played themselves. Just not much talent on the roster.

Oh sure. Iowa comes to Seattle and basically doesn't miss a shot the whole game. Then they go home to face a horrible Northwestern team, and somehow it's a close battle? Not cool Hawkeyes.

Seriously, what the heck? Stuelke is back for Iowa and having a big game, but they let Northwestern hang around the whole game. This is a NW team that is winless in conference and has been getting clobbered in most of their games.

Okay, looking at their results, looks like either Northwestern is gonna lose by 20+, or keep it within about 5 points. Nothing inbetween. So I guess Iowa caught them on one of their nights where they were masquerading as a half decent team.

Huge 3rd quarter (28-10) is gonna carry Boise St. past New Mexico, knocking the Lobos 2 games behind UNLV. Colorado St. is 1 1/2 games back currently.

I looked at Iowa's remaining schedule. They better win at least one on that Minnesota/Nebraska road trip. But it looks pretty brutal. 4-6 finish to the season is my prediction for them.

Good battle going on in the Summit League. 6-1 North Dakota St. visiting 7-0 South Dakota St. Bizon w/ a 2 point lead nearing end of Q3.

Good news for Wisconsin fans, not so good for Michigan. Wolverines about to absorb a really bad loss in Madison.

Yep, Washington State clinched the final PAC2 regular season title. The Beavs will get another shot at them in the PAC2 conference tournament as the #2 seed.

It’s getting chippy in LSU. A player from each team has been ejected and it’s still the first quarter

Oregon with a possible huge win AT Michigan St. Up by 6 with 77 sec to go
A little revenge against Vanslooten for leaving. Although I'm not sure how many of her former teammates at Oregon are even there currently.
