Week 12 - Jan 22 to 28

Got to hand it to Vandy, they played SC tough for 1/2 the game. They should feel good about that.
Very true. I'm still watching cuz they are still competing. It is pretty impressive. Cardoso was great in this game, one of her better performances this season.

And shout out @LoTrader . Oregon State really is impressive. And they play pretty unselfish.

Watkins 7-25 w/ 6 TO.

She's going to have those kinds of games mixes in with brilliance.
She's been shooting poorly in almost every conference game, the difference today is that she didn't get to the FT line.

Between this game and their game against Washington, I have a hard time coming to any conclusion other than Lauren Betts is the single most important player to her team in the country.
How do you explain her getting benched against Utah and the Bruins were better when she wasn't on the floor?

Oregon outscored Colorado 37-30 in the second half to make the score respectable, but the Ducks are in a world of hurt.

Wow, Donovyn Hunter must've really got going down the stretch for Oregon St. Finished w/ 17 pts/10 assists, I didn't even notice her stats earlier in the game. 91-66 final.

Washington desperately needed that. Had lost 6 of 7 coming into the game.

Dunno. I just know they looked bad without her Friday and are getting creamed at home today.

UCLA in another battle. Something is permeating the league. It's called...injuries.

And I remember not so long ago, we were all complaining that there weren't enough games available for us to watch!

Was saying something similar to another friend a moment ago. The parity across all of these conferences has been insanely entertaining!

The 2023 - 2024 NCAAW is drunk and I'm here for all of it!

I saw something about Leger-Walker having to leave the game. Looks like UCLA was rallying but the Cougs might hold on.

Georgia Tech just "intentionally" fouled a Florida State player that grabbed a defensive rebound with 1.5 seconds left in the 76-67 game. Yes, FSU was leading.

Wasn't it reported that Betts has an undisclosed medical issue?
I don't remember hearing that, but apparently there were a number of players injured recently that I missed disclosures about.

Anybody tuning in for the Clemson-Wake Forest cellar dweller battle?

"UCLA: Lauren Betts missed her second straight game due to a non-disclosed medical issue, and her presence in the paint was needed as the Cougars dominated inside."
