Week 12 games (Feb. 8-14)

71-66 Wisconsin w/ 1 1/2 minutes left. That would be one of the worst, if not THE worst loss by a ranked team this season if it goes down.

Definitely one of the bigger upsets, if not the biggest, of the entire season.

75-70 final, wow Wisconsin does it.
Holy mackerel! Completely unexpected result. I had Ohio State #10 on my last BY Top 25 ballot.

So, that moves Illinois back to the Big 10 basement now?

Lamar and Nicholls heading to OT, tied at 70-70.

I had them at #8

Nicholls holds off Lamar, 79-77 in OT. The Lady Colonels now 6-9 on the season, and 6-4 in the Southland.

February 11th tonight 8:00 p.m. MST NAU Lumberjacks fresh off a sweep of Sac State travel to Portland State. As with all Big Sky games you can catch this one on Pluto TV.

Portland State split with Montana on the road last weekend. Portland State has struggled to score but they might find the struggling NAU Lumberjack defense a welcome change from their games last weekend.

The Jacks need to finish strong if they hope to crack the top four in the big sky. Not clear if that will be a benefit as I'm not sure of the status of a postseason conference.

Ok, you've beaten me into submission, much like the George Constanza comment of "Ca-stan-za" that it grows on you! I will check out Pluto TV tonight...(I can't believe I am acquiescing but alas...)

Love the Seinfeld reference.

George Costanza is one of my TV heroes. Human insights ranging from "the trifecta" to "shrinkage" to "it was on top" reflect my place in humanity as reflected by George.

FEB 11.....MO vs SC 7:00 SEC network+(YES channel) Clemson--NC State

MSST--Arkansas 9:00 SEC network

Rutgers now with 2 in a row after the 5 week break. And their next 5 games are winnable so they could be in a roll heading into a MD game that I think is the season closer.

Was about to comment on SC trailing Mizzou (!) into the 2nd qtr.
Then remembered that UConn trailed Seton Hall by 10.

Looks like the bad version of Syracuse showed up again, trailing Florida St. 32-18 at the half. There's no figuring out the Cuse this year, totally Jekyll and Hyde.

Brutal day for SEC bubble teams: LSU loses to Florida & Bama loses to Ole Miss

Idaho St. vs. Idaho in a huge Big Sky showdown. Tied at 29 at the half. ISU leading the conference by 1 game over UI.

Gonzaga one step closer to running the table in the WCC. Now 12-0. 19 for Townsend and the Wirths combined for 25.

edit--79-66 over USF

Troungs chipped in 17 for the Zags as well.
The Zags have to have the best quartet of twins in the country...probably the only quartet of twins on one team.

if Idaho State runs the table to finish undefeated they will certainly earn it. They finish with the Montana schools.

Portland State announcers have indicated Portland State has beaten iNAU 10 games in a row. Game starts with two NAU turnovers turned into fastbreak layups and early the Jacks trail 6-2.

Idaho St. wins round 1 63-58. I think if they sweep this series they would nearly lock up the conference title. They couldn't go 0-4 against the Montana schools but that seems unlikely. They are 11-0, Idaho is 10-3, Montana St. 9-2.

Pacific...how are they so bad? Getting crushed by BYU, a loss would sink them to 4-9 in the WCC. They have absolutely no business being that far toward the bottom in a conference like that.

I agree it's unlikely. Idaho State could sweep Montana but if they were swept by Montana State there'd be a tie at the top. Montana State is playing very very good as well.
