And their losses were to NC State (twice), UNC, Duke, Notre Dame and Georgia Tech. They weren't losses to bottom-feeder teams.

How would you describe Wofford?

I was talking about ACC losses. Yeah, Wofford a head-scratcher...but Virginia was on fire today. They will be even better if, and when, Mir McLean returns. It's been over a year now since her ACL injury.

Here's my predictions for this week:

• UConn -- 2 wins
• Villanova upsets Marquette
• Vanderbilt beats Auburn, loses to Tennessee
• Indiana -- 2 wins
• UNC -- 2 wins
• USC -- 2 losses
• Stanford beats Oregon, loses to Ore St
• tOSU upsets Iowa, loses to MD
• Virginia upsets ND
• Duke upsets NC St

So far I'm 11-3, just waiting on 3 more games: Vandy-Tenn, USC-Colo, and Stanford-Ore St.

Sigh I don't know what came over me to think that an ACC team wasn't going to play down to its mediocre opposition. Hopefully the voters will take notice and consider dropping FSU from the top 25.

To review, Virginia came into this game 8-9 and 0-6 in the ACC.

I called Iowa, Louisville and F$U... I knew Louisville was gonna lose, and had a feeling about UVA.

Davidson loses again, this time to Duquesne, drops to 3-4 in A-10. I am just befuddled by this.

Hey now. My Terriers didn't deserve that stray.

I called Iowa, Louisville and F$U... I knew Louisville was gonna lose, and had a feeling about UVA.

I had to hold my nose through the Louisville/UNC battle. I rarely ever want UNC to win in anything but the rest of the league needed a Louisville loss.

The downside is...UNC now tied with Syracuse for 1st place.

Davidson loses again, this time to Duquesne, drops to 3-4 in A-10. I am just befuddled by this.

They beat Duke but lost to the Dukes.

Virginia also got destroyed by Oklahoma, who in turn got destroyed by UNLV if I recall correctly.

But maybe this win puts them in UNLV's spot anyway lol.

The downside is...UNC now tied with Syracuse for 1st place.

Syracuse played a dreadful (ND hangover) game against UNC in their loss. I wonder how they’d fare at home and/on a neutral court?

Gotta give it to Coach HLJ for turning the program around so quickly.

I'm watching the tOSU-Iowa game replay now. Caitlin comes out hot as does McMahon. The reffing in the first quarter is not absurd. We'll see how it develops.

Washington is DEAD to me. Trailing Arizona St. at home by 12 w/ 3 minutes left.

Arizona @ Washington St. was close most of the way, but the Cougs are running away now. Up 23 late.

Hey, at least the Zona fans don't have to suffer thru another heartbreaking close loss today.

Penn St. up big on Nebraska nearing end of Q3. Big 10 standings are all kinds of jumbled up at this point.

Penn St was an average team. Then Owisu returned and hit the ground running. Big boost for the Nittanirs

Vandy faded in the stretch, as TN closed out on an 11-2 run.

My Aggies of NCA&T come from behind to take down the mighty Blue Hens of Delaware 65-62. They are a 0.5 game out of first place in the Colonial

@triaddukefan you might have to find your Washington hat...and set it on fire! Dawgs down 5 at home to the worst team in the conference. If they lose this, I'm starting the fire Langley brigade.

I guess the approved narrative is: No nights off!

Fire Tina Langley. You heard it here first. I'm pretty sure that was a worse loss than anything we had to suffer thru during the Jody Wynn era.

Oregon led Cal most of the way...but forgot there are 4 quarters, not 3. Bears outscore the Ducks 19-9 in the final frame and win by 9.

The Fighting Camels of Campbell pull off the upset of the year among Mid Majors.... defeating Stony Brook 75-73 in OT down in Buies Creek. Stony Brook came in with a 15-1 and 5-0 conference mark, but my Camels slayed the Dragon Sea Wolf.

The Iowa player I really like this season is Molly Davis. she had 14 pts on 6-7 shooting and 7 assists. It's refreshing to see Czinano level efficiency coming from the PG spot.

SC at aTm could be a rough game, #1 defense vs #2 defense, aTm is 11-0 at home.

Rough for A&M. Looking like smooth sailing for South Carolina.
