Starts tonight w/ some MACtion:

Tuesday, November 1
Ball State at Kent State, 7 pm | ESPNU
Buffalo at Ohio, 7:30 pm | ESPN2

10 mins in and Ball St. playing like they did in the first half against UConn. 13-0 Kent St.

Eh, good 2nd quarter by Ball St. Now 20-13 (Ball St.) in the 3rd.

So Ball St. pulled it out. I guess it ups our strength of schedule….whatever, I couldn’t help but watch and feel the pain of that second half again…growing pains. I believe that loss helped the D stay focused against BC. (at least that’s what I’ll tell myself!)

The defense didn’t lose focus. It got worn out.

If I was a PAC 12 team recruiting against UCLA and USC right now, I would show them footage of Ohio State/Northwestern and tell them that this is a pleasant fall day in the Midwest, with 50 mph gusts and horizontal rain. A little different from SoCal.

Keeping an eye on Liberty & Army today. Currently Air Force leads at Army 10-7 in the 4th qtr. Liberty is at Arkansas (4pm start).

Army has 1:46 to drive most of the field for a TD and the win.

Wow Army is not the right team for a two minute offense. Air Force wins.

.-.
Georgia is smashing Tennessee. Heupel better draw up some offense because the defense is getting smoked.

I'm watching this Liberty- Arkansas game, and Liberty is working then over pretty good. 14-0 up so far. I already hate them...

.-.
Liberty up 21-0 on Arkansas with about 30 seconds left in the first half. Arkansas has gotten a little bit going on the ground (which bodes well for us), but our D will have their hands full, it looks like...

Liberty looks real good. Their defense is very good as well. Going to be a real tough game.

Liberty in some of its past games won by a small victory. But no question they will be a challenge for UConn. Yet, someone else said here remember the Houston-UConn game.

Wow! How the (somewhat) mighty have fallen. Army held to just 145 total yards by 6-3 Air Force, including just 78 on the ground (normally a good quarter's worth of yardage for them). This game is looking more and winnable. Meanwhile, Liberty , as mentioned, with a 21-3 lead (on the road) over Arkansas.

.-.
Kansas up 31-10 over ranked Oklahoma State. Looks like the Jayhawks are going bowling.

They look really good. Gonna take our A game to beat them. Hopefully the D can keep it low scoring enough to give us a decent shot.

Liberty hasn't done squat in 2nd half. Could be a tough break for Arkansas ruled short on 2pt conversion to tie, but one of those calls that whichever way it was called originally would've stood. 21-19 Liberty.

I don't think Liberty will score bunches vs UConn, but also don't think our offense can outscore them unless there's a bunch of pass plays Charlton's been holding for week 11.
