From what I could see from the box score, they didn't make it easy for themselves. Cal made them work for this win. Good from a developing grit perspective.
 
I was impressed by Galvan in that second quarter. I think she really helped Vanderbilt break the game open there.

Didn’t Iowa destroy Penn state like this too? Or was it Rutgers? Either way. I think those are the two worst teams in the conference.
 
Clemson leads NC State, 39-37, at halftime. NC State did hold a 19-11 lead at one point. Clemson made 10 of 16 FG in the second quarter to take a 4-point lead before a Zoe Brooks jumper at the halftime horn cut the Tiger lead to 2 at the break. Tilda Trygger with 9 points and 8 rebounds...Khamil Pierre with 13 points and 4 boards, Zoe Brooks has 10 for NC State.

Rusne Augustinate has 11 for Clemson, with Mia Moore contributing 9.

Yeah there's definitely some poor teams at the bottom of the B1G, same as last year.
 
Speaking of Rutgers, trailing Maryland 70-28...in the 4th quarter. It's hard to believe RU was once a really good program.

After a slow start, Vandy pounded Mizzou.
Win on Sunday at TexAM and Commodores will be taking the Night Shift to #5.

Vandy has a backloaded conference schedule. Beginning is sweeter than pie. Ark, LSU (only test) Missouri, Tex AM, MissSt, Auburn.

Don't know. But she is the only starter in the game. Also, if she comes out, the only other guards on the bench that play are Harmon and Lee. Graves is a former walk-on, given a scholarship last year as a reward for her hard work. And Graves comes in as I type. The other guard on the bench is a freshman from Ireland who is not ready.

I don't find this win that surprising considering NC State was missing a key player. Clemson isn't as woeful as they used to be. They can steal the odd game if their opponents aren't careful.

It’s true though that Clemson won the 4th quarter 23-8. NC State can’t let that happen.
 
You see everybody, this is why I don't trust Washington. Getting thrashed by Michigan St. At home. Jumped out to an 11 point lead in Q1, then just decided to quit doing anything.
