So far the top thing that stands out are the insanely high scores and overall separation of FBS level vs. FCS. It seems like the margins of victory against FCS are greater than ever ... well except for Colorado...

Also, Buffalo took care of business... isn't Lafayette typically a solid FCS program?

I was hoping UAPB would've put some points on the board in the 70-0 blowout vs. Arkansas.

The Colorado game was entertaining. I was hoping for an upset but it was a close game. Travis Hunter is quite a WR and his last TD was an amazing catch. North Dakota State's interception was something I've never seen before as Sander's pass hit a NDSU player's calf while he was on the ground and popped up to be intercepted.

I know that Yakira Walker is number 2 on the depth chart for Colorado center but not sure if he played.

This is the problem for UConn. Currently it will be impossible to get players like Hunter so difficult to make noise in FBS. Boy Jolu look good. He made the right choice going to NC state.

Was looking for him, but never saw or heard him or his name called. They did say they had 4 lineman with zero starts.

Everyone else looking forward to the Benedict College Feagles getting the full wrath of the FSU Seminoles in Tallabama tomorrow?

Three of UConn's 2024 early opponents in action this Friday night:

Temple at Oklahoma
FAU at Michigan St
Elon at Duke

Oklahoma game was a snooze as expected.

Wisconsin-Western Michigan tied with not much time left in first half.

FAU playing Michigan State tough. Score is 16-10 and FAU has the ball with 3 minutes left.

Mich St. In a sweat vs FAU and just got a crucial (potentially home cooking) overturn of a targeting penalty that also resulted in FAU turning it over on downs.

I don’t know if FAU is good or MSU is that bad…

Woah Nellie!!!
Western Michigan pulls ahead of Wisconsin 14-13 early in the 4th qtr.

Turnover on the punt puts Wiscy in the Red Zone

Watched Temple vs Oklahoma for a bit
Temple not as bad as I expected. They won’t lay down for us.

Good game but Wisconsin won 28-14. Interesting for a while.

Air Force up 7-0 at the end of the 1st quarter with next week's opponent Merrimack

Merrimack down just 14-0 to Air Force early 4th quarter. Not so confident that next week will be easy for us.

Syracuse is up by 12 over Ohio at the end of the 3rd. Ohio was favored by ~20.

Miami saving the ACC.
Napier now on the hot seat.
Gators have #1 toughest schedule, and if they keep playing like this it could be 3 more beat downs and 7 total losses.

They have big problems. The only success they have had came off of a couple of Miami mistakes. Score could easily be 50-10.

Merrimack may beat us. They played very well vs. Air Force and did a really good job stopping the run.

G5 programs are going to lose by more and more as time goes on. The talent separation is greater than ever. Has a G5 even upset a Power program yet, even come close?

FAU was fairly close against MichSt
MSU 16 FAU 10
Nwern 13 MiaOH 6
Wisc 28 WMU 14

Rice looks just as terrible as us vs. a Sam Houston program coming off a 3 win season.

My take away from all the games so far unless anyone can prove me wrong the G5 programs have not beaten a power team yet and are getting slaughtered overall in head to head match ups. We are not unique to the butt kicking going on. Guess this is what happens when the top G5 talent gets paid to move to Power Conference.
