Now we're playing semantics. Calhoun was despised by the officials. I saw games when all they did was watch him just to T him up, totally ignoring the game. He had ill advised T's. There were fans that used to say "he's ruining some kid's confidence"
Calhoun may have been the biggest bully ever, and I loved every minute of it. I wouldn't change a thing.
There were people that argued "we plateaued under Calhoun", because "he couldn't win the big one". Spare me the poppycock, them there TV dinner experts were wrong about competing in the Big East, they were wrong about Calhoun not being able to win the big one, they were wrong about wanting to change Calhoun, and now they're wrong about Hurley
