I was looking down off this ledge and I just remembered that. The fat man on the FAN said about our game that road losses of favorites are not really upsets in the BE (he thought the line was 10). He's a jerk but I kinda agree.

I said almost the same last night. Last night was at best a very mild upset. Many big east teams are going to lose at the hall this year.

The Big East is the #2 ranked conference in the RPI, and Seton Hall is #3 ranked team. Winning on the road in the Big East is tough, and Seton Hall is turning out to be a lot better than any of us expected.

Good point. We can't look at the Cuse game as they were awful and couldn't make a shot vs the Cuse in the Dome. All of the BE has potentila to get on a roll at home and if the crowd gets into it we kow kids play better. The domino effect was in full view the other night and it happens. Heck could happn again at RU if our guys aren't cautious. The think you cannot do when this is happening is turn it over so keep those down and get some answers and all will be fine!

Young teams (like ours) will struggle on the road. Our youth is our Achilles heel. We need to survive and appreciate any road victory, because as national champs and highly ranked teams will be playing above their norm in front of their boisterous fans. On the road, we simply have to learn not to give teams too much confidence and silence the fans, our youth is not there yet. Last year we had an All American junior and Donnell Beverly (4 year BE player) as leaders.

Our most experienced player right now is struggling (even looking lost) leaving the task to sophomores who are still learning. Remember Bazz graduated early, Lamb and Tyler are 'late bloomers', Roscoe is struggling, and Giffey is getting limited minutes. This team must stay confident and needs an effective leader to emerge.

With that said, we can not afford to lose at home in this league.

great point about our youth... many people lose sight of the fact that lamb wasn't even a go-to guy til his senior year in hs (2 years ago) and our most effective/consistent big man this year has been an unheralded guy who didn't really play a whole lot last year... also many people forget that kemba had a bunch of 10-30 shooting nights last year... like you said, we're gonna lose some road games this year and the hope is that we peak in march

S Hall is more experienced and very hungry, they were better

Pope is a 23 yr old man, AD is 18 and could have been playing HS ball this year

AD and the rest of the Huskies will grow from this
