Any “professional” analyst or bracketologist who thinks we are an 8 seed should return their paycheck and go cry quietly in the corner.

5 straight Big East wins by 10+ points, including 2 on the road.

14-6, 11-6 in conference play.

There are NOT 28 other teams with a better resume. Please.

Yeah that graphic really bothered me on the broadcast earlier. We are a 7, if we make it to the BET Final we are a 6.

Recent bias is not supposed to be considered, nor is how they looked without bouk.

I want to be a 6. I read that the Bottom half of the bracket is statistically more likely to have a longer Cinderella run since they avoid that killer one seed the longest

Just posted this exact same thread without seeing yours due to the site issues ha. Great minds!

Win BET and this is a 3 or 4 seed.
Make BET finals and a 4-5
Win one BET game and it's a 5-6
Lose first game and a 6.
I was about to put something together like this, agreeing to assume we are now a 6 seed

I mostly agree; I think we have to be a 3 seed if we beat SJU/DePaul, then Creighton, then Nova in a row, after the run we have been on already with Bouk back.

If we lose in the finals I agree and lean towards a 5

If we lose to Creighton I don’t see how we move up

If it’s SJU and we lose maybe it’s down to a 7

If it’s DePaul and we lose I would be worried about an 8-9

The committee will take Bouknight's absence into account for seeding. My guess is UConn ends up a 5 or 6 seed. I'm also not sure it's as big a deal, because there's lies difference between seeds 3-9 in any year in recent memory.

BE tournament will determine our seed for NCAA

I think 2 wins in the BET definitely gets us to a 6 seed.

1 win in the BET and we're on the 7/8 borderline.

Lose our first BET game and most likely 8/9.

Nor lander and Greg Doyel just discussed UCONN on CbsSports.com and they have us as the favorite going into BE tournament.
If we win out in NYC, then they have us as anywhere from 6 up to a 4.
Seeding is HUGE for us to have a Sweet16 run.

We have not been in the big dance for 5 years and we are complaining about seeding? Seriously? Quite frankly, I’m just happy we are back where we belong. Screw seeding. Just win the games and we will be fine.

Y’all remember when we were so down and out as a program that we got so excited about the hire of Raphael Chillious and the fact that he was recruiting Blake Harris, boy have times changed!!

Can a top 3 conf team in the BE win the BET and only be a 6 seed? Would that be the lowest seed ever for the BE champ?

How about the team you saw in the second half?
I know what you mean, giving up 58 points in one half is a bit shocking. Georgetown got hot and we were doing enough scoring of our own to maintain a wide margin. I'm simply not going to get too concerned about our defense at this point.
It's called being on cruise control. It happens sometimes.
