WAXX

Happy to be able to see the exhibition game. I was wondering if the blurry reception was our tv or connection? Good to hear others were having the same issue. Thought I’d need to get a new tv lol.

It’s free and it’s available to fans across the country. How many fans of other teams don’t get to see the exhibition games at all?
So it’s the better than nothing argument? I hope they can do better going forward if they want to be involved. Lots to fix.

Including the P X P guy knowing the UCONN players. I found his mis-identification of Husky players almost unbelievable. What are his qualifications to announce a Husky game? It seems like he should at least know the difference between a missed shot and a pass. At times I believed that Meg had to be shaking her head.

I don't care. The feed was blurry and the high up camera stank like a cat box!!!

TLDR: Shut up @Dove!

Highlight the sport section.
Click the show on the top-left to full screen.

It’s a Horrible app for navigation and clarity.

Moving down and highlighting the categories on the bottom of your screen move until you see UConn Sports and that’s the past broadcast with UConn content. . . I think
I actually found the feed in the "live newscast" box.

I thought the overall presentation was terrible, Brochu kept going down conversational rabbit holes while trying to call the action.. At least he tried to catch up after doing so, but he basically talked about who took the shot, with little about how it was set up. They managed to spell Culmo's name wrong at the opening (Cuomo? No, that's the former governor.) And while it was good to see her calling the game, she seemed very subdued compared to her style in earlier years. She said she was excited by exhibition games, but you'd never have known it from her voice.

The two doing the halftime show made me yearn for Kara Wolters. They had very little analysis to add to the highlight reel, ("and look, here's Quinonez making this great play..."). Their conversation mostly trucked out all the cliches that you would expect from two casual fans, and I'm not sure they knew very much about the team. I swear I heard the guy say that El Alfy was out much of last season with an injury.

Tough crowd. Especially with Meg, we received very professional, knowledgeable announcers that had a high degree of UConn knowledge from a lower tier station doing their first broadcast of the year. Yeah, there were about 10 minutes with buffering lags, but I was thrilled to enjoy a live UConn broadcast not ruined by cliches and no knowledge of UConn or women's basketball in general.

Oh good, someone else heard that. I thought I was hallucinating. Also, I think the same guy said that Ice Brady had played for 40 minutes in 2 games in last year's Big East tourney. It's almost as if he was looking at a year-old media guide.

I was only referring to the technical aspects of the production. Just expected fewer glitches.

Didn't he also say Lobo would be back by December?
