This kid kind of jumps right to the top of my wish list, even if he has to sit out a year. He's originally a west coast kid, but he is transferring out of the Pac-12, so I don't believe he can stay in that conference.

15.9 ppg
4.7 rpg
5.9 apg

Sophomore with 317 assists and 177 turnovers the past two years

Why would a kid with that much success transfer? I don't understand the AAU mentality.

I feel like Washington is always losing contributors to transfer. Is something up there?

He avg 36 mpg, its not like its playing time.

You can't assume the "AAU mentality" has anything to do with him transferring. Some people leave 6+ figure jobs to go something entirely different because they aren't happy. Maybe his success on the court isn't making him happy where he his.

Maybe for exposure? Can imagine if he puts up the same numbers on a better team, he'll be drafted higher?

.-.
Hearing UNLV or possibly NBA. He looked at the the draft last season but didn't declare.

I get that, let me clarify. I'm not commenting on specifically Goss, but rather the huge wheel of transfers plaguing the game right now which in the macro sense can only be attributed to a disconnect between player expectations and reality when they join a d1 program.

It's ridiculous how many transfers there are so far this year.

he should just go pro, doesn't have much nba upside at all. can go to europe though.

Sooo.... Wouldn't that make it a good choice?
Lol, yes...touche.

But what I meant was if you're going to transfer and sit out for a year, you probably don't want your team to go through a coaching change as soon as you become eligible.

UNLV would be a bad choice considering Dave Rice will probably be fired after next season.

San Diego State has lived off transfers and transfers have thrived.

I'd say SDSU and UNLV are front runners. Dont see him coming to all the way east but Ollie has to make an inquiry, no?

.-.
We are in an era that Transfers are becoming HUGE components of putting a team together. Need to go ALL-HOIBERG & get your share. It's been proven year after year for the last 4-6. And, now we are seeing major impact at the second tier core programs - like Michigan State & Maryland & Oregon & Oklahoma. Duke also has this history.

I bet zags. They need a pg now and he'd stay on the west coast. They get good exposure since they win so much every year.

Zags have Perkins, who was a 5-star recruit and played some excellent ball before getting kicked in the jaw.

.-.
Good god how does Romar still have a job?

This is a question I've been asking for the last 5 years. He has arguably done nothing in the last decade in a pretty decent recruiting area of Washington. Washington can't hold a candle to Gonzaga ever since Romar stopped playing the Zags.

Seems like the kid's willing to look all over:

I don't see him as a need for us, but YMMV.
