Washington Mystics @ Seattle Storm game 1

Cloud and Atkins have been decent but Delle Donne isn't excelling and they've got just about nothing from Sanders and Tolliver.

Seattle, led by the oldest player in the league, is running the Mystics off the floor.

68-42

Bird to Stewart!

I have no idea how this series isn't a 3-0 sweep. Washington looks like they have no answers. At least with Phoenix you always knew Bonner, Taurasi and Griner were going to show up at some point.

I think this underscores what a difference it makes for Seattle when Loyd is on. She's 9-11 from the floor and 3-3 behind the arc. Getting her first trip to the FT line now.

Delle Donne and Toliver are a combined 5-20. If those 2 were hitting shots it would be a lot more competitive.

Look those five's +/-

Looks like a full house tonight for the game.
I don't see any empty seats when the cameras pan the customers. Seattle has run off and hid, up by 24 at the end of 3. This one is over.

Atkins is having a really nice game, 17 points on 8-12 from the floor. It's easy to not notice because of how lopsided the game is.

In another thread somebody mentioned 3 point shooting (Washington specifically) as a key. Mystics are 3-18, Storm 5-10. It sure seems like they've hit more than 5. Storm shooting 60% overall from the floor. That will win you a lot of games.
