DB is a class act...
We need to pray we can keep DB at least until we can get into a different conference.DB is a class act...
Most of those 11 completions were at or behind the line of scrimmage (just three passes were completed 10 or more yards down field) as evidenced by the team's average yards per pass being below 5 yards... one was a batted ball that the receiver made a diving catch on for an 11 yard loss. UConn had negative passing yards until there was just over 5 minutes left in the 3rd quarter. He had 3 balls batted due to his throwing motion coming from a 3/4 - sidearm slot.He had 17 passing attempts and 11 completions. Would you like to revise your remarks?
Wait. I get to decide? I wish someone had told me that before the game! What people are failing to appreciate is that the player gets to make their own choice on whether the risks are worth. You - as the fan - think that you get to decide whether they should assume the risk.
Revenue goes to the conferences and gets divided up, but I believe that Notre Dame keeps all of their bowl money (nothing to the ACC). I could be wrong there, but I don't think I am...They can afford to. Do any bowl revenues go to the conferences and not the program?
I can only imagine what this year would’ve looked like if we had given another QB some run after the first few games of the season like some people wantedI say it from the standpoint that I still have two eyes.
He’s a 6 foot 3 QB but had as many blocks as completions.
Honestly people like you are why we had bad QBs for so long. You seriously don’t know what good QB play is.
So you are good with his decision to not assume the risk? Okay, then.Wait. I get to decide? I wish someone had told me that before the game!
Lol, are you just like a random text generator? Nothing you say makes any sense. So you are good with his decision to not assume the risk? Okay, then.
Our?Embarrassing end to our season. Our defense is terrible. Yes, the offense was bad, but getting run out of Fenway by Army is as bad as it gets.
The feeling is mutual.Lol, are you just like a random text generator? Nothing you say makes any sense.
Exactly what you would have expected from a true frosh who had taken just a couple or 3 snaps all year, with both starting tackles out. Next year he will be a RS freshman. 7.6 yards per completed pass, longest was 28 yards to Reymelo Murphy which means that the average for the other 10 was 5.6 yards. They managed him so that there were no turnovers. Neither outstanding nor bad. What was expected under the circumstances. He may still be starting for UConn in a couple years, who knows. He did nothing to damage his future to put it that way. But since deception is the name of the game in football, he has to lose those orange shoes. Why would you want to draw attention to your feet if you are a QB?Most of those 11 completions were at or behind the line of scrimmage (just three passes were completed 10 or more yards down field) as evidenced by the team's average yards per pass being below 5 yards... one was a batted ball that the receiver made a diving catch on for an 11 yard loss. It wasn't good QB play, through no fault of Farrar's; he simply wasn't ready, but had to answer the call (and not having Bell to potentially break some of those short bubble screens as he did throughout the season didn't help). Now we move forward into the Candle era and hopefully Candle can take some of what he saw in the game and through the practices into creating the shopping list for the portal.

I'd throw in Diaco's bowl game. Did it actually happen? This is the oddest game UConn has played since it played mass twice in a season.
Why do you insist on saying "our"?Embarrassing end to our season. Our defense is terrible. Yes, the offense was bad, but getting run out of Fenway by Army is as bad as it gets.
And it’s not like this game was in September. He has been practicing in this scheme for months. It was generally bad.
I think most reasonable people would agree that when you have a good young quarterback, through the inexperience you see a spark of potential.
I saw a guy who was doing his best but repeatedly made the same mistakes. He scrambles nicely but that’s about it.
I would disagree. There was a black cloud around this game that won't be there in the next few years if we do get future Boston invites. The Mora departure and the string of events that followed made it easy for fans to say F it. And the bowl game still got 22K to show up. Which all things considered was fairly competitive with some other bowl attendances.I'd expect that trend the line (to the extent that two points can actually give you a trend line) to continue if they bring us back a third time in a row.
No attack but on television. Fenway has additional bleachers for football that gives them up to 40,000.Where did you see sparse crowd?
I did not see any extra bleachers setup. They used the permanent stands up to about the 3rd base dugout and the bleachers out to the triangle (they do use the Monster seats). The left field area behind the two team benches was left vacant and used to introduce various honorees. In theory they could add bleachers there, but the last two seasons they haven't.No attack but on television. Fenway has additional bleachers for football that gives them up to 40,000.
Announced was 22,461.
You must have been in a hugging area to keep warm. I missed that view. Thank you for being a UConn fan.
Given the weather, coaching transition and player opt outs, the crowd was as good as we could have hoped. We were engaged and loud too, at least until it got out of reach in the 3rd quarter. The tv views aren’t going to show much of the 1st base side, which was fullNo attack but on television. Fenway has additional bleachers for football that gives them up to 40,000.

A dual threat, supposedly? Makes no sense.Exactly.
