A lot of people are going to say a lot of things because this was an ugly loss and a bad way to end a season that had so many good things in it.

We are going to remember this season fondly -- Fagnano, Bell, Edwards, and Parham. Momentum got sideways when Mora left, but we have a great hire in Candle and some great recruits coming in.

This season was a step forward for this program. The game sucked, but there's a lot better coming.

Should have declined the bowl invite. But hindsight is always 20/20.

Just feel bad for the fans who were duped into spending their money and valuable time to see that joke of an effort/game.
I think Notre Dame was the brunt of a lot of jokes for opting out this year, but they probably got it right. I expect that next year will have a lot more universities following suit...

Shoutout to everyone who put on a jersey today and gave 100%. I appreciate that they decided to play today even when playing seems to be optional

That was a miserable game. But to me, it means nothing. Glorified exhibition. That's just what lower bowl games have become in today's college football. Some people in the chat were saying that this was the same as last year's Fenway Bowl, except this time we were UNC and Army was UConn. It's true and that is very sad to admit

Overall an amazing season. 9 wins and the 3 regular season losses were by a combined 13 points, 2 of them in OT. We were a few coin flip endings away from competing for an undefeated season. That is a fantastic result for the program and makes me very happy

We're all angry now but we will look back on this season VERY fondly. These last four years have been the UConn rebuild phase 1, and the book is now closed on a successful phase. Time for UConn rebuild phase 2. This team will look EXTREMELY different next year, but I'm looking forward to the Candle era. Let's go Huskies!

Today was a total clown show for everyone involved. The coaches and players looked like they didn't want to be there based on their effort. We played a QB who was clearly not ready.

I get it - the school wants to get paid by playing in a Bowl game, the players are looking out for # 1. Still, it doesn't make it a less painful viewing experience. Kudos to the fans who paid good money in frigid temps to watch that display.

What matters now is the 1st 2 weeks of 2026 for Candle to turnover this roster and bring in some top QB talent,

Let's go!!

Who here wouldn't take $2.5 million to get embarrassed on national tv? /s

In all seriousness, there was too much smoke about the players not being happy about the bowl selection for it to not ultimately affect our performance. It is what it is. Back to back 9 win seasons is still nothing to sneeze at.

Looks like Monday will be a big day for us recruiting wise, so we only have to bear with it for 36 hours.

Disappointed in the score at thebend of the game, but the season was successful overall with two wins over P4 teams and one being the ACC champions.

Now coach Candle has to recruit those he wants to keep and recruit the portal starting in January
