As the socks my daughter bought me say, "Ain't no bad joke like a dad joke!"Thanks buddy! Sometimes I tee these things up nobody takes a swing at them…![]()
We had "the best player on a NC team isn't even available" (Deng), Majok, "the Ferrari", etc.I am still a Hurley guy, but I'm at the point where I won't believe anything that comes out of his mouth whenever he is hyping up a player. He also hyped up the freshman this past year and Hawkins was the only one who even remotely looked like a good player. I need to see it before I believe it with Hurley now
Tough time sitting still will push her to rehab the right way. Thanks Kathy picking her up in 30. She feels great already a little pain as expected but that was already there. And yes, she knows the deal needs to be sure to live by the expectations put forth in the meantime but I will remind her she has a tough time sitting still.
Sometimes it is.That is not how this works lol

Haven't eaten cereal in years and had a bacon egg and cheese this morning, so can confirmMore of a bacon and eggs guy?
Hope your wife recovers quickly. You missed nothing. At your leisure read the “Floyd enters the transfer portal” thread and enjoy knowing you missed most of the drama.
Best wishes for the wife... had one of mine done 3 years ago. It was time. Hope all goes well for her.I didn't even see a thread regarding the departure of Corey Floyd Jr, what the hell happened here? Is there a story behind this it would seem to be an absolutely awful loss. My wife was having hip replacement surgery yesterday and I was behind on most of the happenings I guess, but this news is shocking.
Please tell me more, this one hurts I thoughts this kid was going to be a nice piece.

It would be nice but he's going to be looking up at Newton, (likely) at least one transferring quality guard to be named later if not more based on the scuttlebutt floating around here, and a (potentially) reclassifying top-30 commit. Presumably he doesn't want to be the guard version of Springs over the next two years.Maybe Floyd can be won back over. Idk, it’s just strange
Not yet, but it's getting better. I was scared witless about doing things afterward, and took a while to get going, but have seen guys from the golf course that have had the 2nd one done, and the pro was back working in less than 2 weeks, and a guy we play with was back out playing in 4 weeks. It's much easier than a knee. Thanks 68. Hope it's all better for you and you gained 20 yards thereafter?

I actually expected this and was surprised it didn't happen sooner, based on his quote that he didn't come here to redshirt. To me, he seemed really disappointed -- bordering on PO'sd -- that he didn't/wouldn't get the chance to prove himself.I didn't even see a thread regarding the departure of Corey Floyd Jr, what the hell happened here? Remembering Doug wren…Coaches do this all the time. Calhoun was the master of it.
He didn't sound pissed 2 weeks ago in this article. And if he was mad then that's completely on Hurley for not setting Floyd with the right expectations coming to UConn a year early. You can't tell the kid he can compete for a chance to play and then at the end of the year tell everyone that if he didn't redshirt he would have helped the team. Which is why I don't think you're right. There's more to this story. Hopefully we end up finding out what happened.I actually expected this and was surprised it didn't happen sooner, based on his quote that he didn't come here to redshirt. Hi Mau
My best to your wife - she'll be fine. She just needs to get to PT and push herself to a realistic limit My thoughts are with her
Had my knee replaced in 2016, the other is due anytime and now the specialist says my hip is bad
Thats what years of soccer and being a catcher in baseball will do to you
I am a walking pain machine
This Floyd thing has got me scratching my head - based on Dan Hurley's comments about Floyd it doesn't connect Someone thought Floyd didn't want to fight for a starting role but according to all the staff the kid wasn't wired to even think that way. Something is going on - maybe Dan Hurley is feeling the pressure of needing to get beyond the 1st game in the NCAAs but to have his last 2 guard recruits walk away is troubling.
Again the best to you and your wife
