Done.
And happy to support Ines.
Liked her attitude & hustle from the first time Geno put her in a game.
She certainly hasn’t done anything to contradict that first impression.
I’ve only been really following the Huskies for 5 or 6 years but I’ve seen the old games.
Both Jen Rizzoti & Shea Ralph showed that you can’t hustle too much.
Crystal Dangerfield, Aubrey Griffin and Nika Muhl have continued the legacy.
I think if Ines gets a shot at some decent minutes, she might just give some opposing teams and their coaches serious indigestion.
My take on it anyway

I tried to vote a second time this morning and it would not let me, so I guess the first vote counted despite there being no "submit" button.
To vote again, clear cookies in safari, clear history (today or everything or just fiba) in Firefox, and do whatever one does to
clear cookies/history in Chrome. Then you can vote again.

Boneyarders are awesome! Ines is blowing away the competition right now—likely due to the support of UConn fans all around the world.

I’d like this kind of support at my job. If I’m up for an award, can I post the voting link and get Boneyarders to vote for me???

j/k, but seriously…I wish we all had this many people behind us.

Will her tournament be over in time for her to make it to Zagreb to welcome her teammates to the Continent?

Another vote for Ines. Let’s Go Husky Fanatics! She dropped from 40% to 39% last night. That’s unacceptable.:D
My vote certainly counted; she's up to 41%. Come on BYers, we can do 50% !

It will be definitely worth your while to check out Kelly Faris. Kelly = grit and hustle.

C’mon Husky Nation, let’s get this done!

Portugal wll battle ITALY for fifth place in the whole U 20 tournament. It Portugal wins
one of the Portuguese players should make the All Tournament second team ( like
Jana El Afry in the earlier tournament!!). So VOTE FOR INES!! INES had a good game
today against Turkey and she has 10.8 ppg making #24 in the whole tournament
amonst all players and # 15 for PPG for GUARDS!! Ines' FG % is 39.1 and her Free throw % is 69.2.
She has been valuable for Portugal and with continuous support from the BONEYARD
( and, of course, a good game against a GOOD ITALIAN team) this could get our
girl on the ALL TOURNAMENT SECOND TEAM.. INES will try to do her part. WE
NEED TO DO OURS. VOTE TODAY, VOTE TOMORROW. Ines is at 43% of the
MVP voting... She won't be MVP but.... let's give her a chance for that second
team ALL TOURNAMENT!! GO BONEYARD.....

Does just clicking next to her name cast the vote? I don't see any way to submit it.
Yes. To see if your vote was received, vote, close the thread, then open it again and try to vote a second time. There should be a white circle where you voted a moment ago for Ines.

If it’s there, your vote was received, and you can’t vote again unless you close the thread and clear your cookies. I vote every day.

Time to STOP voting. Here is the list of the 5 players on the ALL TOURNAMENT
TEAM and some " extras".. which are noted on the FIBA U 20 WOMEN'S EUROPEAN
CHAMPIONSHIP, 2023 web page ( click on "news" for additional information.)
MVP : Carla Liete France and the following 4 players on the TOURNAMENT TEAM:
Jana Lateia Latvia, Matilde Villa Italy, Junja Zecevic Serbia
and N. Morro, Spain. They also mentioned as noteworthy
Hila Karsh Israel, Luize Silva Latvia. I did not see any mention
of a " Second Team ALL TOURNAMENT" which I had my hopes on and is
usually to my awareness a somewhat 'regular feature'. It also
did not help than Portugal came in #6 and that there was no exceptional
stats for any Portuguese player in the last two games. Maybe next year = a good
effort by the BONEYARD. For those interested in another FIBAtournament... and players who have
visited UCONN .. consider the FIBA coverage for the U16 women's European
Championships in Turkey, eg. Olivia Vukoso 6'4" , who is with the Croatian U 16
National Women's Team. We had a photo of Olivia ( THE BIG "O") with Nika on
an earlier Boneyard thread.

I have 3 separate programs that I run every time BEFORE I turn my computer off to ensure that I clear all cookies and trackers I pick up during my travels along the super highway of the WWW. I would NEVER turn my computer off before doing this. I have not one but two anti-virus programs that guard me in real-time from becoming infected with a virus.

Been there, done that. No more. It's easier and cheaper to buy virus protection programs than to have to deal with the consequences (cost) of having it removed from your computer by a technician.
