losing 13-10 at Middle Tennessee
Still getting used to the new hand checking rules??with 14:00 lest in 1st half Burdick, Graves, Harrison, Jones with 2 fouls each.
Seriously? Let the excuses begin! Wish I had access to their board!Final Four Tennessee down 12 with 2 min. to play 1st half.
But she's the greatest. A 6'6" athletic post who can play all 5 positions!Down 12 at half. This will probably go down to the wire. Russell's debut has not been auspicious so far.
Makes me sick to my stomach. But I do get a little thrill out of TN being down. (ok a big thrill)Y'know, this is like when the weather guy tells you on Dec. 15th, that the long-range forecast shows a slight chance of a white Christmas. You know, it's probably not going to happen...but, it still gives you a little childish thrill inside...
Are they part of that "hands down" front court?Graves and Russell with 2pts. apiece.
Why? They've been practicing since June or something....I'm not saying I'm not enjoying this, but to be fair it is the first game and lots of teams are rusty at this point.
I thought that's why you play the exhibition games and have practices for several weeks leading up to the start of the season. Also, they start a lot of experienced players - Simmons, Graves, Harrison, Massengale - and maybe Burdick? It's not like they are starting 3 freshmen and 2 sophomores.I'm not saying I'm not enjoying this, but to be fair it is the first game and lots of teams are rusty at this point.

And they did some sort of team bonding/chemistry building adventure too. Why? They've been practicing since June or something....

No you can't.If you don't believe that many teams aren't at their best in the first game of the season, then I can't help you.
And cries of "This is Tennessee basketball" are heard all over their board...!
