Saw this. Nice thing for him to do. Still don't think people who made the school millions why they were students should be expected to donate even more money. If they want to, that is a very nice gesture and shows how appreciative they all are, but I don't think it should be expected.
That being said, it wouldn't surprise me that if when JC retires, or when he gives word that he is coaching his last season, a bunch of players come together and donate something towards a Jim Calhoun Basketball Center...would at least ensure he has something named after him given everything he has done.
