Watch it frame by frame - Lewis brings the left arm up to do something to Mullins and not for any other reason. Seeing it live and seeing it in slow replay (have to be on X not see the video here thru X for slowed down) I took it as flagrant.

I don't mind being in the minority but to each their own.

These are the frames immediately at the contact to Braylon’s head and then immediately after. You can actually see the Nova player contort his body away from Braylon such that the left arm being referenced is awkwardly behind his own back. I don’t mean this in a mean way, but I honestly have no idea what anyone is looking at to think this was a flagrant or even close to a flagrant.

Because from the reverse view - Lewis' left arm was straight down hand by hip. Mullins comes over and Lewis raises his left to his head. I mean if I want to avoid someone I don't do that, my arm is low if the ball is in the other side. I get Lewis tried to get away by contorting a lit to get thru, but that left coming up is what does it for me.

Also as to the ref being there, Tarris actually has the best view of the contact point.

He looks much slower and more earthbound lately than he did earlier in the year, or last year. I have to think there's some nagging injury there because it's not really explainable otherwise. He just looked so much quicker and more explosive earlier in the year.

Agreed, he does. He's not dominating like I thought he would this season because of it but he's still right in line with Sanogo in Adama's final season.

Umm, because he usually puts up a shot about 10 seconds after coming into the game on his first offensive set. Knock it off. Hes pounding the ball looking to beat his defender instead of looking for a good pass.

He's not looking to beat his defender. That's the problem. He's pounding the ball looking to pass but doesn't move at all to create an angle to make that pass. So he dribbles in place.

There's being in the minority and making stuff up. This is the latter.

It definitely looks that way. He’s looked very below the rim this year. Never dunks, they don’t even have a lob in the playbook these days.

he also had a hamstring injury coming into the season that he apparently aggravated at least once after sitting some time out of practice. definitely doesn't seem like he has the same lift, he's had a few instances where he's been wide open at the rim after a dump-off or entry pass and instead of powering up for a dunk he's gone for a layup instead.

Given the trajectories of both players it could be construed that Lewis is loading up for a punch with his left. Realistically if I were Lewis soley intent on the ball I am reaching down with my right, and turning sideways away from Mullins. That is not what happened.

What a win and a what a battle. FLA has some legit dudes

9 assists and no turnovers. He should be starting. Ive seen enough of Demery at this point. Let him figure things out from the bench. Mal has figured things out pretty quickly.
