Adian was key tonight. Hassan clearly struggled and adian playing those minutes and playing them well allowed him to rest and be ready in the second half.

Stewart came in, committed a boneheaded foul outside the 3 point line within 10 seconds and then proceeded to be pretty awesome for the rest of the night. Glad to see Mahaney really step up as well.

The two players that people have been most critical of came through today. Mahaney looked confident running the point and scored 7, with three assists. With three games in three days it’s nice for Diarra to get more rest than usual. Johnson with 11 points, on perfect shooting, although surprisingly he only had 1 rebound. BUT, what a great all around game by AK, the shooting stroke is back. Prediction - tomorrow Ball, Reed, and McNeeley go off.

The final 13 minutes was beautiful basketball. We were down 5 but ended it on a 32-10 run to run away with it.

Aiden Mahaney was great. That lefty kiss off the glass was next level smooth.

Great game from UCONN in the last 10 minutes. I didn't see that run. Biggest change I saw was putting Stewart on the big Viillanova wings. He has really improved hid D and was part of the reason for the run. Mahaney with big backup minutes even though he still looks suspect bringing the ball up the court at times. Loved to see McNeeley play better in the 2nd half and Karaban hitting his 3s was so sweet. Samnson Johnson played great and helped on D so much.

AK and Samson were awesome and took over when it mattered in second half.

Mahaney kept us in the game and got us to the place where they could take over.

If we can get Liam going this is going to be a really tough team to beat. AK is fully back and Samson is playing the best ball of his career lately, we legit have the two headed center monster.

It's really nice to see AK smiling and looking so loose now. It's also nice to see Mahaney get it going. Almost feels like a redemption tour.

So do you think Karaban is fully healed from the concussion? /s. He's had a pretty good 5 game run here.

Mahaney played pretty well. If he can give that every game it makes everything better.

Switching Diarra on to Poplar did the trick. I'm not sure how many points Poplar had with Diarra on him but it wasn't much.
