Accept for the first 8 minutes the game went as many expected it. Nova had too many weapons. Dante was amazing. That Paschall slip screen for the wide open 3 in the second half was a thing of beauty. Also, when Nova was up 16ish and Gillespie pushed the ball the ball up court and passed to Bridges who immediately swished a 23 footer. Beautiful. 99% of the college teams pull that ball out and kill clock but Nova was in step on the throat mode there. Well done. I have no animus for Jay Wright. Good coach and a good guy. I'm also a big fan of Beilein ever since he gave UConn fits with the 1-3-1 D and Kevin Pittsnogle shooting threes. He does more with less. I'm happy the season is over and look forward to Dan Hurley righting the ship. Go Huskies.
