Francessa is intolerable as is Michael Kay (LeGrecca is only knowledgeable hockey guy in tri-state area on radio), but Boomer and Carton are hysterical in my eyes. I enjoy Golic as most have said but can do without Greenie and do miss when Eric K used to fill in.

Anyone catch Fat Boy talking about the Football HOF last Thursday and how important he is because he has a vote? He was coming off, as if he was the Gatekeeper to the Hall. My buddy and I were driving north for a pond hockey tourney and we were literally besides ourselves.

This is one of the problems with HOF voting, in general. It's about the player's accomplishments, not Mike Francesa.

On a related topic, Francesa failed in his role as "gatekeeper" to the Heisman this year as he missed the deadline for the vote.

You've got to be kidding me. Does he lose it for missing it? Please tell me you lose it for at least 1 year.

That's the unintentional comedy scale I'm talking about. I love that about him, he's got such an over inflated sense of self it's funny. I do cherish those moments when someone happens to say something and he runs off on a tangent ranting and raving about whatever the topic may be and what a dope the caller is for having the audacity to have an opinion different than his, especially when the opinion is supported by fact and puts Mike in a corner and he simply dismisses the facts as unimportant to the conversation....seriously that is high comedy.
