I'll let UConncat handle the response here as you questioned her. But I will question your one comment.

I can always count on you for that...

Her five assists on the "season" is 6 games. She's averaging 6 points and 3 rebounds off the bench in her rookie year. She gives them a nice option off the bench.

I expect her shooting numbers to get better. Just as i don't expect Hayes to continue shooting 26% and 20% respectively.

But I didn't call Hayes a "capable" wing in trying to make a point. Neither she or Hayes are that.

"She, Thompspn, and Stricklen are all capable wings in this league."

Ok...I let go your pumping up of Glory Johnson. She is a hard worker and tough defender. But saying Stricklen is a capable wing at this point in her career is just nuts.

She is shooting 31.7% from the field, 21.7% on 3's and 42.9% on FT's with 5 total assists for the season. One double digit game against Minnesota doesn't make her capable.

I don't feel a need to respond. I stand by what I've said and I'm done with this topic.

Shooting percentages for most players is going to be a bit low as they acclimate to the faster pace of the WNBA. Both Stricklen and Hayes will probably have much better percentages as the year progresses. I've always been a fan of Stricklen and I think that she will have a long and successful career.
