Announcer said too, difficulty getting the play call in here. Typical. He knew it was the 1/2 yd line not the 2. It was pretty clear there. At least they ran a different play!!

For those fans hoping BD learned from last week's time management and goal line offense, let's recap.

First and goal after a penalty.

First play run to the left to the 1/2 yard line.

Next play? Takes 25 seconds to get the play called; BD was trying to short circuit the play and call TO because his staff couldn't figure out what play to call from the 1/2 yard line on 2nd down.

Same systemic failure as Navy last week. No learning; no process improvement from the staff.

There is something to be said for defensive penalties preventing offense from running its offense.
