this kentucky team would have a hard time with that North Carolina team. people seem surprised by this but look at what Kentucky has done recently. they've not been very dominating....

i totally agree. frankly i was surprised you guys lost to them in the first place, but you are a very young team. and i don't recall if that was before or after you lost Wells for the year (it was Wells right?). btw that whole situation is so odd - she's not enrolled in school now? do you realistically expect her to be back? s...

That was the first road test for our young team... in a hostile environment of 14,000 crazed UK fans at Rupp. Wells played in the game, but our Senior Guard Selby was suspended and didnt play. She would have made a huge difference in handling the UK pressure.

Just in case there is a misunderstanding, the UConn-Carolina game to which I am referring is the Big Monday game on MLK Day in 2008 when UConn overcame an 11 point halftime deficit to win against a very good Carolina team.
