The hater in me says yet another dead ball goal. We don't score much during open play

Overall a fine first half. The build out of the back looks competent so far.

Well I think we looked better than against Colombia. 1-1 against Brazil isn't a bad result. Could have been about 4-3 or so except for some pretty good saves by Turner and Ederson.

Stats don't look as good though. Poss 61% to 39%. (but kinda knew it would tilt Brazil). We had 12/7 for shots. Which isn't bad against Brazil. But gave up 25/12 which isn't very good....against anyone.

It does help quite a bit when you don't pass the ball directly to the other team like we did against Colombia. Overall, better than 1st game, so at least headed in the right direction.

We have 11 days until we open against Bolivia. So we should be able to improve some. I'm assuming we'll play some "behind closed door scrimmage" between now and then. Hopefully anyway. Our schedule is good, Bolivia and then Panama before Uruguay. Hopefully both teams will be through and we can rest players before the knock out stage.

Knock out stage though, we'll probably be facing either Brazil or Colombia. Ugh.

If we lose to Bolivia it’s over for Greggg. We should own them.

The key match is Uruguay.
