Thanks! I was wondering about yesterday's game....looked like she came up hurt in the first half, but toughed it out.

As you can imagine, USF fans are wondering who can replace Courtney.

Considering that we don't recruit anywhere near the level of UCONN and the other national WBB powers, the answer is - NO ONE individual, currently on the roster or anyone coming in for '16.

Just as Laska is starting to get acclimated to the college game and is now beginning to show her ability, I think that "Enna" from Denmark will pick up a good deal of the slack left by Courtney next year.

Here is a video of her from the 2015 European Championship:

We had hoped to add another European scoring threat, but so far have been unable to bring her in for an official visit, due to her national coach not allowing it because of recent FIBA competition. Hopefully, she now will be able to do that and commit to USF. If so, she will be of immediate help as well.

Keep it up and you will be playing your first two rounds at home again in the NCAA's! Good luck!

USF is also ranked #15 in the Coaches poll and that too is a new record for the USF WBB team.

Considering the remainder of our schedule, there are not many opportunities to impress. Realistically, our only chance is winning @UL on 2/15.
Hope that happens for you!

But you could also impress by giving UCONN a scare at Storrs on 2/29. That would be really fresh in the minds of the selection committee too.

USF lost in OT @Memphis 88-84.

Alisia Jenkins started the game but only played two minutes as she re-injured her ankle.

Memphis had tied the game in regulation with 0no time left.

Tough road loss for USF.

Hope you whack UCF today. Will be watching on ESPNU.

We did USF 88 UCF 49!

As expected USF dropped to #20 in the AP poll.

Laksa earned AAC freshman of the week honors.

FWIW, USF #1 in the nation in free throw percentage!

Hope your team can keep it's mojo going and that Alisa comes back soon and Laksa stays hot. You need to make up some conference ground and also get your ranking back up. I know you would all love to host again...and it would be great for Courtney in her senior season.

How long are Alisia and Laura supposed to be out with the ankle and the plantar fascitis? Good win especially with Courtney on the bench for the second quarter with fouls.

Alisia is expected to be back for our game @Temple on 2/6.

It was reported that Laura is out "indefinitely" for left foot injury.

Apart from USF, no team in the AAC believes that they can beat UConn. On the other hand
many of them do believe that, maybe, they can beat USF.

So it may be that everyone is near or at their best when they play USF, just as USF always
seems to play UConn tough. This might explain the loss to Memphis and the fact that
SMU had the lead after the first quarter today.

Alisia and Laura still out with injuries. Both players are wearing a boot on the left foot.

Alisia is expected to return for our next game @Temple.

No word yet on when Laura will play. It appears that she will undergo surgery in the off season, but will resume playing at some point this season.

What a great night for the Bulls. USF improves to 12-1 at home, and Williams reaches 2,000 career points #BullsUnite

Nice pic of the uber-athletic Courtney.

Courtney can flat-out play. Glad she is having a great senior year!

Tough road loss for USF.

Temple won 68-66 with a put back after a miss as time expired.

With Alisia back, Courtney and Laksa, you are working with your own Big Three....looking for you to get another win on Friday.

I see that USF vs Louisville is the 9 PM game on ESPN2 on Monday, following Carolina/Tennessee. Best of luck both Friday against Cincy, and also on Monday! Should be fun to watch!
