USF lost in OT @Memphis 88-84.

Alisia Jenkins started the game but only played two minutes as she re-injured her ankle.

Memphis had tied the game in regulation with 0no time left.

Tough road loss for USF.

Hope you whack UCF today. Will be watching on ESPNU.

We did USF 88 UCF 49!

As expected USF dropped to #20 in the AP poll.

Laksa earned AAC freshman of the week honors.

  1. .@USFWBB's Kitija Laksa is Freshman of the Week http://theamerican.org/news/2016/1/25/WBB_0125165348.aspx…

Hope your team can keep it's mojo going and that Alisa comes back soon and Laksa stays hot. You need to make up some conference ground and also get your ranking back up. I know you would all love to host again...and it would be great for Courtney in her senior season.

How long are Alisia and Laura supposed to be out with the ankle and the plantar fascitis? Good win especially with Courtney on the bench for the second quarter with fouls.

Alisia is expected to be back for our game @Temple on 2/6.

It was reported that Laura is out "indefinitely" for left foot injury.

Apart from USF, no team in the AAC believes that they can beat UConn. On the other hand
many of them do believe that, maybe, they can beat USF.

So it may be that everyone is near or at their best when they play USF, just as USF always
seems to play UConn tough. This might explain the loss to Memphis and the fact that
SMU had the lead after the first quarter today.

Alisia and Laura still out with injuries. Both players are wearing a boot on the left foot.

Alisia is expected to return for our next game @Temple.

No word yet on when Laura will play. It appears that she will undergo surgery in the off season, but will resume playing at some point this season.

What a great night for the Bulls. USF improves to 12-1 at home, and Williams reaches 2,000 career points #BullsUnite

Nice pic of the uber-athletic Courtney.

Courtney can flat-out play. Glad she is having a great senior year!

Tough road loss for USF.

Temple won 68-66 with a put back after a miss as time expired.

With Alisia back, Courtney and Laksa, you are working with your own Big Three....looking for you to get another win on Friday.

I see that USF vs Louisville is the 9 PM game on ESPN2 on Monday, following Carolina/Tennessee. Best of luck both Friday against Cincy, and also on Monday! Should be fun to watch!

Wow, more than 200 posts about another team's season. Says a lot about the largely communal nature of wbb.

I look forward to taking my son to the USF-Uconn game 2/29 in Storrs...where I'll be joining my local community in rooting against USF. :)

Will history repeat itself?

"The last time USF upset a ranked opponent on the road was Feb. 20, 2013 at Louisville. The Bulls upset No. 11/12 Louisville, 73-62, Williams and Jenkins freshman season. Jenkins scored eight points and grabbed two rebounds as a starter, while Williams added five points and three rebounds off the bench."

Massey gives USF a 35% chance to win and predicts UL 72 USF 67.

Well, that was too bad that it didn't go the Bulls way in Louisville. Courtney was magnificent as always, but not enough support....

99 posts by 1 USF fan and 100 plus by others over 10 1/2 months...just to give communal context

Well actually, Rocky, I'm not so much feeling communal as I like USF. I bleed blue, but I also think USF is pretty good and I root for them to do well against anyone who isn't wearing National Flag Blue. When I am visiting my brother I go to their games and enjoy them. I believe there are others on this board who may even have family that go to USF. I thought that all were welcome here, so I respond to USFMB when they post, and they to me.

Always root for USF to beat non-conference opponents - improves the status of the conference, plus Jose is a good guy. Go Bulls, and USFMB should keep on posting their news!

Glad to see Courtney made the list of 20 for the Wooden award.

Congratulations on the Memphis win today. Hope Laksa's ankle is okay. It was good to see Laura playing again.
