Heads-up fellow BYers who live in Florida and are thinking about attending the USF vs UConn match on Dec 2nd. Tickets will be going on sale to the general public tomorrow (Saturday, 27 Sept).

USF WBB Season Ticket holders are able to purchase extra tickets today in the 200 level (General Admission will be available to everyone tomorrow). For planning purposes, 200-level prices for Season Ticket holders are $55 for UConn (and $30 for South Carolina, $20 for Duke and $10 for all other games). I would expect something similar for general public, and a wee bit cheaper for General Admission.

Way back in ancient times when UMass was the big rival on the men's side, cheap seats for the "U Game" were $75. A heck of a lot of money back in the day. I guess USF hasn't gotten there yet.

I live in Orlando and I checked USF'S web site and the tickets for the lower level were listed at $974.00 each and upper level at $254.00 each. Always went to the UCONN games when UCONN was in the Athletic Conf., but I guess I will watch the game on tv this year.

Folks, I have reached out to my "Season Ticket Handler" at the USF Athletics Department. He informed me that they have not yet released tickets to individual games to the general public yet as was previously promulgated to ST holders in earlier emails. It is still only for ST holders.

Speaking to him today, he doesn't know when the new General Public release date will be, but expects it to be very soon.

Apologies for getting everyone into the starters block just to have the race temporarily delayed. Best bet is to stay tuned.

More palatable than the $200 Minnesota charged, taking advantage of the Paige effect.

OK, folks. Here's the deal: USF single game tickets are now avaliable if 1) you are a season ticket holder or 2) if you want one of the games against weaker opponents. For their Big 3 games, including UConn, single game tickets will be on sale in 2 to 3 weeks. The very high prices one person quoted here are scalped tickets, not box office prices. While the box office prices will undoubtedly be high, they will not be anything like those numbers.
How do I know this? I had an incredibly frustrating conversation with the box office guy, who checked with their operations team and brought back the info.
For what its worth, they have one of the worst websites I have encountered in a long time.

Just watch the ticket sites…grab them just before tipoff and you will get great deals!
