USF Matchup

Interesting matchup tomorrow night. USF has some nice size inside and one of the best front courts in the AAC. They only shoot 25% from 3 point range. Compare that to UCONN which shoots 41%. Collins, their starting PG, has missed most of the season.

I wonder if Ollie considers playing SOME zone tomorrow night. They worry is obviously that sometimes rebounding out of zone hurts you, but this seems to be a team that you want to try and force to beat you with jump shots.

USF played Cincy close twice, and beat SMU. Ville blew them out, and so did Memphis.

These dudes are always a pain in the ass. I hope our guys still remember the injury-riddled loss last year.

They are large and could give us fits as per usual…….need to run them as they will try to settle into a 50 point game……..rebound and run outs!

Getting to the foul line will be important. Driving the lane and getting their bigs in trouble will make this an easier game. We need to see Boat and Bazz at the stripe a lot tonight.
