USF GAME THREAD

I had a thought that Geno said to Lou this week, "I know you and Pheese are friends but I didn't know you just wanted to hand her the conference scoring title."

A way to remind her who she is and to go get it.

Two things I have noticed about Lou tonight.
1) She is running the floor with much more energy.
2) She has more color in her. Not that pale stuff she has looked the past month or so.

PS--She has 2 rebounds, only 1 behind Colliers 3.

I want to see Lou break Nakisha Sales' Record of 46. What a way to go into the tournament .

I know USF is not a strong team. But I don't remember UCONN ever looking better.

Well, we can definitely get our guys some rest this game.

I don't want to see Lou anywhere near 47 points, unless she gets it all in the first 5 minutes of the half.

I agree.

The envelope says--May a weird Yak visit your sister.

NO!!
I want to see a lot of the bench in the second half.

Lou is now 6 for 6 from 3 point land!
came in late. Everyone see after Lou hit her 6th that she gave that same shrug that MJ famously gave in the playoff (against Utah?)?

I think Katie Lou can get 47 tonight. She's got 29 at the half . She only need 18 more I think she can get it .
Geno has something to say about that. I think he wants her healthy and he doesn't want to embarrass USF either. I would love it but it's not about KLS, it's about team and I only want it if it's in the rhythm of the game, not bombing away specifically to get a record. I think tonight has helped her potentially set a team and maybe even NCAA record for threes in a season and that'd be cool. We shall see!

Well that was entertaining! Throughly enjoying this game. Yes they're up by 40 but it's how they go about it!

Our kids have got go be having fun too. They just need to stay healthy and get ready. Just six more wins to bag after this one...

We often say that absolutely everything has to go wrong in order for UConn to lose: an injured starter or two, really cold shooting, foul trouble, great shooting by the opponent, and uncooperative referees.

This first half shows what happens when absolutely everything goes right. Wow, wow wow!!!

I am only saying this because I have thought it during last two USF vs UCONN games, USF has given up.
