USF game, email from UConn

Quite frankly, UConn should formally contract with Ryan Phalen or the Baseball Bus folks. They are a much better value, and they have proven that there is a market for affordable group transportation to these games. Every package I've ever seen from UConn has been so overpriced as to be laughable to consider... I want to support my alma mater but I don't have unlimited funds.

Get Ready.....;)

Did I miss something in the email or was it essentially a block of hotel rooms and pre-game reception? Not exactly a complete package... And not exactly a good deal either.

That was my interpretation. Basically it said: "You are on your own to get there, get tickets & return home but we will supply the hotel!"

You forgot the ride to and from the game!! That's worth at least another $100 a head. Right?

No, but it includes a happy ending from your mom. Layoff the racist bull****.
Why don't we get off moms I just got off yours. Seriously. Educate yourself. There was nothing racist about that statement.

Why exactly would you need a police escort?

We had one at Notre Dame, it was sick! Lights, sirens, the works! There were like 10 bikes and 5 police cars. The motorcycles would wizz by the buses to the next intersection and shut it down so we could fly by. It was a great experience, They do it right in South Bend.

Yeah... except after we beat their - they left us high and dry for our ride back to the train station!

That didn't really answer my question... seems excessive for a ball game.

The official trip is usually multi-bus affair. The escort allows more time for pregame activities and gets you in close to the venue.

It's always a one-way deal. On your own on the way out.

I didn't know we were supposed to get one out of town, but that would make sense after a loss.....
