USF Game @ 3:30 on ESPNU (Updated)

What was our historical "magic number" against USF again? Was it 50F or 55F?

Either way, if we get to 40F, they are ... ;)
I don't have the least bit of sympathy for USF. They had the opportunity to get out of harms way in September, lay pretty big offensive hurtin' on UConn, and pick up a pretty much garunteed win.

Now they have a beat writer complaining about average temperatures for the season in the Northeast. 40 degrees is not the Ice Bowl. A sweatshirt and windbreaker should suffice.

As much as I want to prop up the image of the conference while UConn is in it, I want a win more. I'm getting more upset that I can't be there.

and then UCF again the week after that!
I feel like there’s a zero percent chance we go down to Orlando and beat them. Do they have any home games between then and now? Maybe the stadium will collapse

definitely going to be difficult. Frost has those boys rolling. But thats why they play the game

Do they call it a ten day? ;)

"Definitely not a ten day forecast if it is more than ten days.
Definitely not. Ohhh, ten minutes to Wapner."

Just got the alert that 7:15 is game time.

Update: Time was changed yet again on Pratt and Whitney Stadium's FB page to Nov 4, 12-AM to Nov 5, 12-AM.

It said "Pratt and Whitney Stadium at Rentschler Field changed the time to 7:15. I just checked again and it was changed AGAIN to read Nov 4 12-AM - Nov 5 12-AM.

I'll take a night game at 33 Degrees with a nice miserable slush/rain.

You and 5,000 of your closest friends. That's assuming you're going.
One of the best games at Rent was the USF game with roughly the similar conditions. It was a blast, the worse it got the more rowdy the last 15,000 became. It was miserably wonderful game with Teggart kicking the winning field goal with a few seconds left. Wouldn't mind another just like it.

If Pal’s weather God is listening. I’ll take 63 and sunny.

That way USF doesn’t have an excuse.

(other than Strong is overrated!)

I put on my winter "game coat" last year and found the ticket for that game in an inside pocket. You could see it had been soaked through and then it dried into a little ball. I got a little misty. What a night.

I think you make my point for me. That game had the worst weather I can remember and we were losing with 5 seconds to go. That doesn't sound like much of an competitive advantage.

Come on man...where's the spirit....we were kicking their rear-ends until they rallied late... they were huddled with their little heaters dejected most the day and they had a pretty potent offense and QB...I thought it was a blast. I wouldn't want to do that every week. It was cold, wet and miserable.

I remember that game very fondly, it was a blast. Let's not cheapen that memory.

But my point remains, if the conditions were that much of a hindrance, how did they rally to take the lead late?

That was a miserable weather game but a great finish. The challenges are certainly out there for us to overcome. USF has a record setting 24 games in a row where they've scored 30 points or greater. The next closest team has six. It's our conference mate and upcoming opponent, UCF. BC is looking very good against FLA St. So it all starts tomorrow with Mizzou. Lets beat them and run the table.
