I don't know quite what to think of being called a "Used Member" .... this conjures up all sorts of interesting punchlines..... all I know is I wanna post 20 more times so I can be called "Active" !!

I think they should reverse it. You should become a "used member" after being an "active" member!
 
It has to do with "trophy points". No idea how those "points" are earned.

actually, i wonder what makes a "used"member. i checked the OP's post count and he has 32 or something, not a total newbie, but not over 100 either. no idea - maybe it's a glitch. i say we go back to the scout board! ;)

Just posting to see what kind of member I am.

I have been very busy lately and have been lurking but not posting much.

As long as I am not an "expired" or "dead" Member, I am not going to complain.

"Used Member" means either the Mods think you're just about played out on this board or your Doctor has given you a diagnosis of ED.
 
I guess I'm still new member...how do I get the honor of becoming active? 10 posts a day:(

Uh, Padre...If you were previously known as Icebear and you are now known as Icebear, isn't that going to get just a little confusing? I mean, how will we know whether we are addressing the previous Icebear or the present Icebear? Or were you just pretending to be Icebear before, and now you really are? Or is it that you are still Icebear, but are now unknown? or...or...MY BRAIN HURTS!!!
 
Last time I looked, I am still "new." At my age, I'll take it, especially since I am so "used" and no longer very "active."

Clearly you confusion means it is a successful signature. Appreciating CatCamille's sig I thought I'd have a little fun. After all, I was formerly known as icebear and I still am.

What do you plan to be known in the future? BTW- I agree with Kib. I'll take anything "new" I can get.
 
If I remember my grammar correctly it is an expression of the "present perfect continuous" or "future perfect continuous." I cannot say what I will be known as in the future, maybe Bob or some form of four letter word. Someday I will be known as dead.

How about adding a "retread" member? Definition: needs new sneakers before the season starts.

Listen, while I have most of you bears' attention, such as it is, I have a bone to pick with you. I have read that bears are forcing the stock market down, and I really think you ought to stop it! And that is no bull.
 
I'm on vacation and just noticed that I have been upgraded from "New Member" to "Popular Poster." Obviously, there has been a mistake--but don't tell anyone!

What did happen at the Open. Dealing with the flooding here in PA I lost track of any coverage.

I apologize if I'm repeating something 'cause I haven't had a chance to read the entire thread, but I had to comment.

Prior to the last few days, I was thinking of starting a thread to the fact the we all seemed to start out at "0", and how swell that was! ;)
 
I just noticed that I am still a "new member". I must say, I was a bit surprised. I feel I've pretty active, especially on the new board. :confused: Is there some kind of Designation Scedule showing what's required for a specific level? :)

ps I love some of these smilies, can y'all get more? (and they make everything more colorful and pleasing to loook at, no? I know, I know...I don't ask for much do I? :eek:

You have 13 more posts to go before you become a Used Member. And won't that be special? :-)

As for the smilies, reviews are mixed on those. Some really like them, some really hate them. We have a limited selection that will need to do for now. If you really want more variety, copy and paste them from another board.
