USC only shooting 29% from the floor but has a 1 point lead at halftime because Oregon St. is feeling charitable and has given the ball up 12 times. Utterly ridiculous. Also 9 O boards for USC. Gulich is dominating w/ 12 points but not getting enough help from teammates. 3 ball isn't dropping regularly. Frustrating game if you are rooting for OSU. The Beavers only have 2 FTA compared to 6 for USC, despite the fact that USC is the team that plays super aggressive defense. Hmm....refs, I don't like 'em.

Low scoring first half, pace picking up in Q3. Rueck picked up a T. Now the blind refs are suddenly noticing all the fouls USC is committing. After only 2 FTs in the first 20 minutes, OSU has now had 8 in 6 minutes in Q3. OSU up 44-41.

51-46 OSU after 3Q. It was 28-27 at halftime. Gulich has 19 pts. on 9-10 FG. Only 2 turnovers for OSU in the 3rd. If they can take care of the ball there's no way they lose to USC.

Is quadruple 7's a thing? Pivec has 7 pts. 7 reb 7 assists 7 turnovers. It's painful watching her trying to play PG against pressure defense.

65-59 OSU w/ 2:04 left and Simon just fouled out.

.-.
66-61 w/ 1:16 left, Pivec just fouled out.

Jump ball, possession USC w/ 39.8 left.

Deep 3 rattled out, OSU got the rebound. Timeout w/ 33 seconds left.

Another timeout, 14 seconds left. 3 second difference between game and shot clock. Not looking like USC is going to foul. Beavs up 3.

OSU gets some really good stuff off of inbounds plays! Layup for Tudor, that should just about seal it. 68-63 w/ 12 seconds left.

.-.
USC couldn't buy a 3 to save their life today. 3-19. Tudor shooting FTs w/ 1.5 sec left.

69-63 final. I don't like playing against USC. It's like getting teeth pulled. OSU survives and gets the weekend sweep of the LA schools, avenges a pair of losses from earlier in the season.

Gulich finished w/ 25 points on 12-16 FG, 9 rebounds and 4 blocks. Definitely got the better of the matchup w/ Simon today.

Poor UW. 1-15 in conference. A week ago today they fell behind OSU 35-11 after 1Q. Today they were hanging around w/ Utah, then got outscored 37-6 in Q3. How is that even possible?! They got blown out 81-46. Melgoza scored 27, nobody else in double figures.

Washington St. dropped another close game, by 3 to Colorado. They have mastered losing close games.

Arizona St. @ Arizona just started. ASU jumped out to a quick 7-0 lead forcing a timeout.

Minyon Moore of USC is a nice player but no outside shot

Looked at some stats. They shoot 30% behind the arc as a team. Ouch! Simon is the best % by far but low volume. Only player over 40% on the roster. I know Mazyck and Edwards can hit them but they're only shooting 34% and 31%. Team shoots 42% overall on field goals. Good thing they force a lot of turnovers.

I hope USC gets into the NCAA Tournament. USC will destroy whatever bracket they are in (should they get in). USC is the most athletic team in the PAC12. Its as if they practice against their USC Men's Basketball Team. They are tough, strong, and quicker than any team OSU has played this year. I really do hope they get in the NCAA Tournament.

If USC wins their last two home games vs Utah and Colorado and their first round game in the Pac 12, vs I think WSU, they will have 20 wins and 2 against Top 25 teams plus about 4 or 5 losses vs Top 25 teams that were 5 points or less. They have been doing it on a short roster. I think they are in, with the above.

I know every year is different, but Cal got in last year after going 6-12 in conference. A 9-9 USC would be hard to overlook. Not sure about the metrics for Cal last year but USC's RPI looks decent.

I really enjoy watching USC play. They play fast and hard every game just need a few more pieces. It's fun seeing real athletic players run the court and create turnovers.

If this is true it is a horrible occurrence.

USC player accuses Oregon State fans of racial slurs

This was a physical game, especially between USC's Simon and OSU's Gilich. Bit no matter how physical it was there is no excuse for that language, in a game, or in life.
The game before between Oregon/USC Ruthie Hebard said Simon was mouthing off all game and is significantly stronger than Ruthie but Ruthie just blocked it out. She also said she didnt want to get in a fight with her mother in the stands because she would be mad at Ruthie. I watched the USC OR St game and Simon fouled out with about 3 minutes left pushing a player onto the floor who had position. It was a silly unnecessary foul for a fifth foul. She definitely had attitude leaving the court but I sure hope the racial slur didn't happen

If that happened, then I am embarrassed for OSU fan base. That is an aberration, as OSU fans are generally very respectful of the other team, their coaches, and the other team's fans.

Simon gave an arm bar shove to Hebard's back in the first half of their game at UO on Friday night. None of the refs saw it.
Simon also has issues. My friend wrote an article about her, and the problems she had from HS and on. After the season is over it can be a scary world out there for a graduate, especially to someone who will lose their comfort zone they have had for the past 4 years at USC. I wish her the best.
USC’s Kristen Simon breaks through for a break out

Simon hurt her team with that ridiculous 5th foul. Simon, with both arms, shoved Kat Tudor to the floor, right in front of the ref. Talk about losing it! This kid has mega talent, but her mental state needs some polishing. USC was very much in the game when Simon decided to throw down Kat Tudor (for getting great rebounding position and blocking out Simon).

BTW, the coach for USC has done an incredible job. He has a bunch of great athletes, who have raw talent, and has found a way to get these kids to play hard for 4 quarters. I really believe USC will be a bracket buster if they get in to the NCAA Tournament. I know that nobody wants USC in their bracket in the PAC12 Tournament. They are darn good.

Don’t like saying it but some of those people in small towns in Oregon are racist. That was 15 years ago though when I noticed it.

That USC coach is terrific. USC just has no shooters but they are a fun team to watch and rarely get blown out. Cal was the team no one wanted to face in the PAC 12 tourney last year and they had a nice run.
