Also fine. NC State also good.I don't want to see an in-state player enjoy great success at Clemson. Go to TCU.

I kind of wonder if Agot will be the next "Dewanna Bonner". She has a very similar build with those long arms and skinny frame. And then she is also an adept 3 point shooter, dribbler, and shot blocker like Bonner.Ayla and Agot playing in the Nike Hoop Summit: USA vs World tomorrow at 7:30 (pregame 7:00), on USA Network and streaming on Peacock.
I forgot the most important consideration - MiLaysia Fulwiley is my mother’s favorite player, and anything that decreases my mother’s joy is ipso facto morally wrong.Agree to disagree
But
SC will be just fine

They're friends.I posted this in the transfer portal thread. Did this not happen? I know I read it.......(Fulwiley was public about her support for Latson coming on board. What changed? Someone got into her ear is what I am guessing. Her mom answers for her on social media so maybe she is pulling the strings? Who knows. These girls listen to what the public or family has to say. It is what it is.)
She could have not said anything at all. She volunteered the information. The X post from Sessions made it clear that people were in her ear about Latson. Dawn didn't have to tell her how it was.....Fulwiley has known Dawn for years and been in the system for years. You think she needed for Dawn to remind her of what she already knew? I think it's people in her ear and apparently so does Sessions. They're friends.
It was also the "right" thing to say. Anything else would have started drama or made her look selfish.
She was not focused on the next season at the time.
I imagine there was a conversation post season where Dawn didn't sugar coat the need for improvement, the realities of the rotation, and the expectation for playing time and freedom.
Also, this is possibly the last gold rush for getting huge NIL payments.
It is interesting to revisit what her mom said in light of Lay's move. Mom seemed to be saying the right things: “You need someone that’s going to say no when the time is right. Transitioning to college and the WNBA, you have to be able to change and sacrifice some things … you need someone that’s going to hold you accountable."I posted this in the transfer portal thread. I don't know...were any non post players ever drafted into the WNBA?Is Dawn able to successfully develop players who aren’t posts?

Believe she was asked about it, but doesn't really matter. She could have not said anything at all. She volunteered the information. Just an observation as it amazes me how many assume that Coach Staley can only coach post players.I don't know...were any non post players ever drafted into the WNBA?![]()
Ty Harris also. Destini Henderson was also on a few rosters over a couple of seasons as wellJust an observation as it amazes me how many assume that Coach Staley can only coach post players.
She's had Tiffany Mitchell, Alisha Gray and Zia Cooke make it to the WNBA. Granted success of varying degrees, but they're examples nonetheless.
Exactly, but this "Dawn can't develop elite guards for the WNBA" narrative is the line of attack that the competing recruiters are running with in unison. While I know that there's been a lot of chatter regarding Lisa Leslie's possible addition to the staff, I'm hoping that Coach goes in a different direction and selects a former guard with WNBA/pro experience and player development experience with guards.Ty Harris also. Cripes. How did I forget them? Thanks for topping up on the list.Ty Harris also. Destini Henderson was also on a few rosters over a couple of seasons as well
And she might know a thing or two about being a successful guard from her college, professional, and Olympic career.Exactly, but this "Dawn can't develop elite guards for the WNBA" narrative is the line of attack that the competing recruiters are running with in unison. I'd also like to know which programs not named Notre Dame have consistently churned out enough All-Star caliber guards (not wings--PGs and SGs) in the last decade for them to use it as a smear against this program.
You could be correct, time will tell. Doesn't the portal, for immediate eligibility, close in about nine days?Day 3 since the reporting MiLaysia to enter the portal and still no reported confirmation she is in it. I’m starting to get feelings of deja vu back to Kiki’s intent to transfer six years ago. I believe Dawn is having discussions with M and her parents to get on the same page moving forward. Call me crazy, but I’m thinking MiLaysia ultimately will change her mind and be in garnet & black next season. Hope I’m right.

Apri 22. The only exceptions would be for undergrads who graduate during the summer. You could be correct, time will tell. Doesn't the portal, for immediate eligibility, close in about nine days?
Yeah, I've been having the same feelings. I think this long wait is in favor of the Gamecocks retaining her.Day 3 since the reporting MiLaysia to enter the portal and still no reported confirmation she is in it. lol taking strays in South Carolina portal recruiting.
Tbf, I think you would consider that a compliment.

Yeah, I've been having the same feelings. I think this long wait is in favor of the Gamecocks retaining her.
You caught a little karmic blowback there. Sorry about that -- it wasn't deserved!Well I guess it will be back to normal next season. I was looking forward to being insufferable![]()

I’m sure there’s discussion going on between Coach and family, with Coach saying,”The standard is the standard… not just for you, but for everybody.”Day 3 since the reporting MiLaysia to enter the portal and still no reported confirmation she is in it. I don't understand what you are asking. If she doesn't enter the portal, then that's the confirmation she is staying with the Gamecocks. From what I understand, she isn't in the portal right now despite the reports that say she plans to enter it.What confirmation are you looking for??
For what it’s worth, the news of Fulwiley’s plan to enter the portal first appeared on Friday, April 11 from a solid source who covers SC WBB. The way the portal works is that the school then has 2 business days to enter a player’s name and information in the portal once they are notified by the player. That means that SC has until Tuesday, April 15 to post Fulwiley’s name in the portal.I don't understand what you are asking. Which makes this all the more puzzling because the people doing the smearing aren't likely to have many (if any) Olympic gold medals as players. Outside of Kim Mulkey and Kara Lawson, who can actually say that they've been where the elite guards want to go?And she might know a thing or two about being a successful guard from her college, professional, and Olympic career.
Oh my gosh, Triad! You’re just so darn !!I assume she will end up in the SEC. It would be funny if she ended up at Clemson. Either way I hope she drops 50 on y'all's head when y'all invariably meet on the court next season. Respectfully
