I was mostly upset that we aren't going to go undefeated again, but oh well. I've gotten past that. This team still has all the pieces it needs to go back-to-back.

But I will say this. Mouse McDaniel is a revelation and is someone that Coach Dawn Staley is going to have a hard time keeping off the floor as this season continues. I don't know if she's had a truly "bad" game this season.

I agree. Every time I watch her I'm getting flashbacks of some of the greatest guards to come through the program. At first I was getting Ty Harris vibes but she also has some Tiffany Mitchell in her as well. She has an uncanny ability to navigate through a crowded space under the basket and get a layup.

I found that to be an odd start time too. I can't recall any home games, mens or women's, starting later than 8 pm.

I can think of a few really late away games, all west coast game, that started as late as 10:30 EST.

Yes, several times. I like late games on weekdays so I can take my time after work. I'm about an 18 minute walk from the arena.

The starters at 1-2-3 look good for the next 2 years look but there’s no depth. We need Makeer but I think shes gonna stay close to home in Michigan.

NCAA stuck us with a 9:00 start in the 2nd rd of the 2018 NCAAT against UVA. In subtle protest, the call was for fans to come to the game dressed in PJ's, which is to be repeated tomorrow night, this time though not out of protest. Also another teddy bear toss night. Recall the first time this was done 5 yrs or so ago, was also against Duke, back when The Freshies were actually freshies.

She knows what she’s doing, but I worry that Dawn’s loyalty to the current starters will cost this team in the biggest games. Just seems clear SC isn’t putting its best five out first.
