The only way France can win is if US gives it to them, which US is trying hard to do. FR has shown nothing so far.
 
nice pass from Maya to Tina, but can't finish. We need to D up more to create transition hoops.
 
Can Team USA play any more poorly then they are. Silly Turnovers, missed layups and at times giving France wide open shots.

Looks like Sue and DT will have to have another half time talk to get this team to play better. Shouldn't have to do it.

Dee to Candace for a 2 - 34-23 US, w/2:24 left in half. Thank god FR is shooting so badly.

Where's Catchings today? I've become a fan since I've seen her in this tournament -
 
Dee misses a 3 - fortunately FR misses on the other end. First half over - 37-25 US Candace has 15, 9 rebounds.

I like to root for Candace on this team. I love it when she plays to her strengths. She frustrates me when she does not.
 
Poor shooting by Team USA has kept France in the game. Shot 39% for the half with 1 - 5 on three point shots.

Not a good showing to increase viewership for the WNBA.

Was running late after dinner and relying on you guys. Heading out in a few minutes to commandeer a big screen TV.
 
Not pretty but game over. France definitely had a magical ride, but no way they're better than Australia.
 
Tina has to step it up... 4 pts and just 2 RBs
