Some very notable players not on this list. Are players like Aka, Pheesa and Stewie exempt from this camp and just passed on to the next round or the final roster?

I assume certain players ((Stewie, Phee, Aja, Sabrina and Alyssa ) have their spots already locked up. The spots left will be filled from the players at the camp.

Speaking from total ignorance: Is Sarah slated to be on the 3-on-3 team? Maybe that’s why her name isn’t on this. Isn’t 3-on-3 still an Olympic/National Team event?
Wonder what Azzi, Paige, and Sarah would look like in 3-on-3.

There are individual world rankings for 3x3 basketball as well as national rankings for individuals and a National Team must include a minimum of 50% (2 players) who are within the top 10 players in their national rankings - I they are trying to distinguish 3 x 3 as a distinct sport on the international level and not just have 5 x 5 players parachute in for the big competitions. The National individual rankings are based on the ten best tournament scores played by the individual during the past 12 months including national, regional, and worldwide tournaments.

I believe other sports have similar kinds of qualification requirements for individuals and teams based on their International federations.

OK, thanks. So, a top butterfly swimmer can't parachute in to swim freestyle? I still think the qualifications are set up to prevent the US from dominating the 3x3.
